I am writing this evening to ask for your prayers for my wife Fran. She is currently running 101.3 which is very scary because as a cancer patient the last time that happened a year and a half ago, she got much worse and I came within a hair's breadth of losing her. Since then we've always known that the greatest immediate danger would be from the type of illness she now has. I have talked with the doctor and I have her on every thing she has. Please pray that her temp drops overnight and that I won't have to take her to the hospital.
I don't post often but read these boards everyday and you seem like one of the nicest, kindest men i've never met. My heart sank when i read your post. I will be praying tonight for Fran. You both deserve a Christmas miracle.

Oh, Todd, I was just thinking about you and hoping for the very best for both of you. Please God, make Todd and Fran well! You know what wonderful people they are! This world needs them!
I too am just know reading this post - it is about 7 am - praying that thru the night her fever broke, and that today both of you will be on the road to recovery and feeling stronger and better

I just read this Todd, and my heart aches for both of you. My prayers are with you both. May God heal Fran, and equip you with all you need to see her through this. You will be in my thoughts and prayers as I go through the day and for as long as you need them.
My prayers are there for you. I hope we get some good news soon. It is a bit scary that we haven't heard from you for awhile. This is the scariest thing a person can face, especially this time of year.
It is odd, but my wife's mother passed away on December 23rd, which is also my sister-in-law's birthday and also turned out to be the date I proposed to my wife.
I am hoping for a best for you and Fran, Todd!!!

Words alone cannot express the depth of feeling everyone's prayers and wishes have done to elevate two very troubled people, emotionally and physically.
Fran's temp has consistently fluctuated between 101 and 100 since this morning. For those who are into such things, she is on Bactim (BID), Levaquin (One Daily), Tamiflu (one daily), Advil (400 mgs (two pills) every four hours for temperature). As you may see from all the meds she has been on since yesterday one would think there couldn't be a chance of having an elevated temperature, yet this is why the oncologists worry so much about such ailments because it's usually that as opposed to the disease itself, that kills Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia Small Cell Lymphoma
Patients. It didn't do her spirit any good when she saw on televsion awhile ago that the entertainer George Michael died of the same variation of the disease she has.
Both our eyes welled up as I read her all of your good wishes to the both of us. Now, I'm worn out and going to go back to bed for awhile.
If I don't have the opportunity to post again before tomorrow, Fran and I both extend our most heartfelt wishes to each of you for a magical Christmas and Hannukah.
