Morning Mates, welcome to another week, the last one of 2009!
The weather here is WEIRD! We had the most nasty wind and freezing rain storm here last night, I thought the windows were going to blow in.
This morning I went out with the dog and it is eerily still, and extremely mild for Dec. 7C or 44F is NOT NORMAL for Boxing week weather!
Today we shall be off to the mall to return stuff and buy stuff we really want!
Hopefully the Boxing week sales will be good...
Prayers still going out to Todd and Fran, hope to hear some better news today...
Good morning RD and all to follow. The sun is shining and it's a beautiful day out there. Going to do some errands, and then just let the day plan itself.
Like all of you I continue to keep Todd and Fran in my prayers. I am so glad to see a post about Fran's temp coming down, and Todd getting some care for himself.
Good Morning CruiseMates!
I agree it does feel like Sunday here too. Although d/h was up early and off to work.
We took the kiddos sledding yesterday and had a wonderful time. I am thinking about taking them again today. I got a good line on a great snowhill, not too far from here. But this time I am going to take the snow tubes instead of just the sleds. I did get the tailgate on my truck unstuck so there's plenty of room to put it all back there.
Not much else happening here. I too am glad to hear some progress from Todd. Let's pray that things will continue to improve for him and Fran.
Good morning Cruisemates from a frosty Texas, where we are expecting ice starting late tonight.
I got a call last night from my brother, and so far all of his tests are clear of cancer. He is also back with his wife and kids. That is a prayer answered.
Today I need to go shopping. We need groceries and I need to stock up on stuff we can fix in case we loose power tonight. (We loose power if it rains to hard)
Donna, I agree that the weather is acting very strange. It might turn out to be a wild one before it is over with.
I also think of Todd and Fran, and hope that this morning has brought them better health.
Good Morning cruisemates (from the still in Scottsdale Kuki). This morning there's no frost on the golf course next to us, so hoping that's a good sign. Temps today may hit mid 60s.
Promised my mother I'd take her out to a lamp store, so that's on my agenda. She's been behaving relatively well the last few days, so I won't be looking for an electric chair.
She just loves shopping for bargains! Yesterday she bought the elevator in her building because it was marked down.
Mrs. Kuki went out shopping for post holiday bargains, and came back with a new shower curtain. She's the perfect wife, she doesn't really like shopping, golf, or me
We have one more day of nice weather, before the cold rain makes it down south.
RD, you're thread title about "it's Monday but feels like Sunday" reminded me of last week when I gained an entire day, because I thought Tuesday was Wednesday .... all day! At least you figured it out quickly!
Today will be spent doing the things around the house, that I've put off for the last few days. Sounds exciting, huh?
Kuki, I'm glad to hear that your mother is settling into the condo. Have you needed to hire nurses for her, while in AZ, too?
My prayers and thoughts continue to be with Fran and Todd. Hopefully he will be posting good news, later today.
Everyone hurry up and get all the things done, that you want done, by the end of the year! Time is about gone!

Good morning from a chilly Southern California. It looks windy and the sun is just now poking through the clouds.
It's also Monday at the clinic. I just spent 15 min. trying to leave a message for my doctor. On Saturday, I tried to get an OTC remedy for a sinus infection. The pharmacist didn't want to sell it to me because of the diabetes. I bought it anyway. Not the solution but a help. At least now the doctor can send in a perscription to the pharmacy electronically.
We had a nice lunch yesterday with Frank (Farimmco) in Newport Beach. We also took something back to a mall with no parking problems at all. Lotsa folks, though!
I, too, hope for good news from Todd.
Well, it's back to a regular Monday, so it's gym day and laundry day.
The bright spot is that I can set up a whale watching expedition in Maui through Holland America for our upcoming cruise. We double digits now.
I keep picturing you with the Wii game. It makes me laugh everytime.
Luanne, since we have had the pleasure of sailing together, I guess you can get a "real good" visual of this scene! Thankfully, no one had a video camera handy! I don't think that I would have wanted that image preserved.

We also have a new Wii, and I am playing Mario, and actually having fun doing it. I want to get the fit package, but found out by eating the box, does not make you loose weight.
