Hubby's Christmas present

Nope it's not this bird. It a new camera he got a canon rebel XSI. He took this picture with it I love the detail. He thinks it just looks okay. He is a perfectionist.

I also have a Canon rebel xsi - I love it. My dh bought me a new macro lens for it this year for Christmas - it is fantastic. I had two other lens - but I think this one will be the most used. I love to take photos of the birds at my feeders, and this one will do the trick!

The lens he got was a EFS 55-250MM lens. I don't know anything about lens or the camera. I don't think it's a Marco lens, because he want one with more zoom. But it is in the future. He is still learning the camera. Right now he is doing neat tricks with leaving the shutter open and playing with the speed. The is now he got this light effect.

He picked it out found the best price and ordered. After I wished him a Merry Christmas. He won't have wanted me to do it. I would have got the wrong one. He kept changing his mind about the camera he wanted based on reviews and price. In the beginning he wanted the nikon d90 for the video function. But he read reviews the video function wasn't that good. So he expanded his research. He researches Cameras like I reseach a cruise. Okay he didn't run 24 different cruises in an excel spreadsheet looking for the best value. But he was close.

it's a documented fact, that men shop differently from women when it comes to "our toys"..men will research the heck out of something and then buy it regardless of the price, because we want it now..women will do the research and then have the patience to wait for it to go on sale, even if it takes 6 months or more

ever watch tv and see how big electronic chains like Best Buy targets ads differently to women and men..or look in a man's magazine like GQ and see the same ad in Essence for the same product by different sales pitch

Venice that is true, but my hubby likes to find the best price at the time he is going to buy something. He will spend hours checking the internet until he finds a price I will let him buy it at.
