Good Morning Mates, actually, almost afternoon here. Weve had a power failure this morning, several times off and on again. In addition, we've had no internet since yesterday afternoon, so it's been a bit trying to say the least!
We are presently in the throws of a big snowstorm, up to 30 cms expected.
We had some snow yesterday, but most of it was melted by the rain and freezing rain that followed, and the windstorm last night.
If nothing else, the scenery is very pretty, but we are pretty much housebound today - too treacherous to go out!
Hope all is well with everyone, especially Todd and Fran, enjoy your Sunday everyone!
We arrived home from two weeks in Israel and Jordan a little after midnight. No heat for last two weeks meant that the apartment was just 50 degrees. Turned on the radiators and woke up this morning to a comfortable apartment and two inches of snow outside.
We hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend. It is back to work tomorrow for me with no trips on the horizon possibly until Easter weekend.
Cheers!

Hi Kids...
It's still snowing..thnakfully, its a light and fluffy snow, but still I watched Luciana, play inthe snow yesterday for the first time..she is a fearless little redhead...doing snow angels like a pro..I watched from the window and laughed, and, smiled,..it did my heart good
Bruce is making his spagetti dinner today...when he opened a package of ground pork to add to the mix, the kitchen smelled like a stinkbomb went off....It must have been bad, and they were selling it at a reduced price..pewwww! Right down the garbage disposal it went...Bruce swears he stiill smells it
Not much going on, just good thoughts for all our Cruisemates. Make it a good one.

Good Morning cruisemates! A gorgeous morning, sitting on the patio with my coffee and laptop, listening to the chatter of the ducks and geese in the pond on the golf course right next to us.
Think I'm getting used to this life of a snowbird, with temps heading to highs in the 70s.
One of the my nephews was given private box seats for the Cardinals/Packers football game today, and remembered my name when deciding who he was taking ... which was very nice.
So headed to my first live NFL game this afternoon.
Mrs. Kuki (trooper that she is) is picking up my mother and taking her out for the day.
It is another balmy -20F morning here in the winter wonderland known as Minnesota. We just finished serving breakfast in bed to the kids. Of course it was our bed and a change of sheets will now be needed to get rid of the crumbs. Oh well: changing the sheets a couple of days early won't hurt and the kids loved being spoiled.
The kids head home today and there is nothing else on the agenda except a vacuuming and dusting. Too cold to do much else, perhaps a movie may be in order. I'll check with the bruised beauty and see if she's up for it.
I hope everyone has a great day and my best to Fran and Todd.
Take care,
Mike

Good morning from Texas where it's cloudy and cool.
Not a good night last night, so I am feeling the effects of it today.
Yesterday I opened the paper, and there was my sons picture. He was included with the year in review. The snowball effect took over from there. Oh well, I had a good week, so one day of grief won't kill me.
I hope that all of you have a good day. You are all in my prayers.
Good Day All!
Pretty cold in Chicago today . It was -1 this morning when I woke up and don’t believe were going to warm up anytime soon.
Well I just finished taking down our Christmas tree and all of the house decorations inside, what a workout!
Normally I leave my tree up until the 8th or so but I need to get back some order around here. With my cruise on the 14th of Dec and then the holidays I feel like I’ve been living in a whirlwind of disorder.
I’m the type of gal that needs routine. With the kids back to school tomorrow and my food pantry bare I need to do some serious food shopping and menu planning . Definitely need to get back to eating normal and exercising. Hope all is good!

It is one of those days - have about 20 projects going at the same time. It is un-nerving. Had a melt down today, the effects of overdoing continually, has left me on brink of a breakdown - how do i corral everything into some sort of managable system.
I don't have any answers, but gotta figure it out soon, or there will be consequences I am afraid.
My thoughts going out to Luanne - many prayers.
Also continuing in prayer for many such as Todd/Fran, Delft....
Mark - glad you had a great trip
Kuki - enjoy the game
Trip - oh, babies -they do bring so much joy
RD - snow, snow, snow ....it seems never ending.
Hope everyone is safe and warm today - be blessed,
