Default Weird picture

Now this is a weird picture. Can you identify it and tell us what it represents? While you are at it say where it is located. Yes we were on a cruise when we visited this location.

I really have no idea, but the first thing that came to mind was a representation of the Underground Railway to help slaves escape....

This picture does not seem to have much interest so I will close it out.

We were in Trajland in Indonesia. This is a very outback place and they have their own customs. This picture is called Tau Tau Dolls. They represent the upperclass people who have died. Here they place the dead in caves along side of the cliffs. The remains, after awhile, become bones and fall from the caves and children play with them.

I did see the picture. But I didn't even have a good guess. You completely stumped me. That is very interesting about the dolls. Thanks for posting it.

Ray, I had looked but definitely had no idea, so did not comment. But that is a very interesting story. Please get up the photos. Especially the weird ones are good learning for all of us.

Ray are the people buried behind the small doors? I see some of them look like they have been opened. That's a very strange custom/place indeed. Thanks again for letting us see it.

Jo Anne--Yes they are burried in the walls of the clifts. I believe they are inside the doors you see. They are very crude in their beliefs.

Here is another picture to view.
