I'm hoping they hold off restarting the fuel surcharges until after my May cruise.

I'm on Carnival so I haven't paid the fuel surcharge, yet.

My next cruise is coming up in april. If the oil surcharge comes up before we make final payment, I will pay it and still enjoy the cruise.

The little consumer allways gets to pay so that the billionares can get richer.

Disney is just not refunding the surcharge for people who have already paid it. They booked before December of 2008. One of the disadvantages of early booking.

Once one cruise line reinstates the surcharge all others will follow. If oil stays near it is I bet that the surcharge will be re-instated within the next three months. I hope it isn't but I believe it will.
