For any CruiseMates wanting to sail out of New Orleans I found a great link that the N.O. Conv. & Visitor's Bureau created for Travel Agents which outlines many of the area's hotel cruise specials. It is a lot of help especially for people who intend to drive to the port or those who want to ensure they are getting the most bang for the buck.
I am going to be there in June to take the kids and I to cruise on the Triumph while d/h is attending a Conference. Of course the Marriott is right across from the Convention Center so that would be my first choice, and that is likely where the University will book the week for d/h to stay during the conference. So I was happy to find out they had a nice cruise special that included 8 days of valet parking (it says 5 days of parking on the link I am going to post) The Marriott parking garage is underground and very secure, which makes it especially attractive, and that way we won't have the hassle of staying somewhere else and then moving d/h to The Marriott later.
