Default It's Tuesday and Winter Returns to East Tennessee

Good morning CruiseMates and all the ships at sea.

It appears that winter has returned to upper East Tennessee for the next few days. We're going to have highs in the low to mid thirties with lows in the teens to twenties. Of course for you'uns up North, especially you RollerDonna, that's Spring weather.

I'm afraid that I'll have to continue what is becoming an ongoing refrain. While Fran appears not to be really sick, she is certainly still not recovering well from her Christmas pneumonia. The best way to describe it is, she's unwell. She continues to be plagued with fatigue and little appetite. Although neither of us feel like it, we're nevertheless going to take a good friend to the Outback this evening. Maybe that will make us both feel a bit better and provide an appetite stimulus to my wife.

Keep us posted on how things go with the kids R/D and Beenie Weenie, you too on your kids's surgeries. Understand our prayers are with you.

I was just thinking that were RayB to put up his photographs to be identified by a bunch of today's college seniors, I KNOW they'd be worse than I and I've only got one correct in the last year. Keep 'em coming Ray, even if I don't have a clue as to where they are, at least my geographical education keeps expanding.

Prayers keep winging their way for all those on the list and of course, I pray for Blessings on all of my beloved CruiseMates.

Todd

It's Tuesday and winter has DISAPPEARED here in Pictou County Nova Scotia!
The windstorm started last night, then the heavy rain hit, and both howled and fell all night long. This morning there is very little snow left, you can see grass in the fields, and part of my yard is green and under water!
Strange weather in these parts....

I am skipping Aquafit this morning since most of the ladies are within walking distance and nobody in their right mind would go out walking in this!
I will attempt to go in to work later; schools are open, but school buses are not running except on paved roads, and there's not a lot of those around these parts!
The only good thing is the temp has risen to +6C or 42F, so at least it's not freezing rain....

Anybody been seeing the TV commercials for the return of LOST on Feb.2?
Only 1 more week and I will be out of withdrawl! 8 months is a long time to wait for one's favourite show to return. I have been helping my withdrawl by watching all of Season 5 on DVD that my sister got me for Christmas.
Can't wait for Season 6!!

Good Morning CruiseMates!
Todd, I hope your evening out perks both of you up a bit. Not having to cook a meal always makes me a little perkier. As for the kid's surgeries. Things are coming together nicely and I am satisfied with my decision to switch to a different surgeon for d/d so far. It would have been a miserable trek into Indy today for d/d. The roads are slick, covered with ice and snow. More snow is expected today. I would not relish the thought of driving d/d home after surgery in that yuck. Finally have logistics mapped out for Thursday and Friday. We meet d/d's new surgeon on Thursday Afternoon in Indy, I think I'll treat the kids to a nice lunch and a couple of hours at Chucky Cheese. Then afterward we will go check in to a hotel in Indy. Play in the pool for a while and then d/h will swing by on his way home from work. We'll all go have dinner together. Then d/h will take d/d home with him and d/s and I will spend the night at the hotel so we don't have to get up at 4:00 a.m. for his 6:00 a.m. surgery. My sister will come over around midnight and spend the night so d/d can have a fun time with her favorite Aunt all day Friday, since she informed me she isn't really all that interested in joining us for d/s's surgery. D/H will be teaching in Indy all day Friday in case I need him. So I think I have my bases covered.

Today is full of boring domestic stuff, it has to be done. I have a full plate and yesterday I was unable to focus much, I just had a motivation problem. So hopefully today I will get the lead out, because there's lots to be done.

Hope you all have a great day. Prayers going out to all of you in need.

Good Morning cruisemates! A tad overcast today in Scottsdale, but it's warming as I type.

Out on the patio enjoying my coffee, and watching the golfers go by already. Appears to be a golf tournament going on at the moment..... a tournament of bad golfers so farI should be playing

Get busy again beginning tomorrow. A nephew is in town for a few days, and we're golfing tomorrow, then more friends coming to town on the weekend, so more golf and dinners and brunch planned as well.

This semi-retirement can get exhausting at times8)
