You said a guess Ray and that is EXACTLY what you'll get.

How about Bulgaria?

I know what the building is; a church. If I could figure out location I can tell you which church.

I agree it must be a church. It is located in Maniz, Germany. We were on our Cross Europe River Cruise.

Now maybe Marc can tell us the name of the church. I can't.

"Located in Mainz' Altstadt, or Old Town, Mainz Cathedral dates back over 1000 years. Shining in a brick-red colour nowadays, it is one of the city's most popular and impressive sights and reflects different Romanesque architectural styles.
The order to build the cathedral was given by Bishop Willigis as early as 975 AD, but it took until 1036 for the construction to be finished. Big enough to host all of Mainz' Christian population, the original church was opened by Archbishop Bardo as the spiritual home of the region's believers."

The first photo is extremely deceptive as to the size of the building/complex. It's huge.

I admit, I was amazed when I saw the second photo - seeing how big this building truly was. It is beautiful - so well taken care of

For those of you who have never thought about it - a European river cruise is a fantastic cruise. You see so much, and the meal and tours are all included in the price. The food is all local.

The new riverboats even have free Internet access and now have "French Balconies" (sliding glass doors that open to let in fresh air).

Captain, thanks. Haven't been on the site for a couple of days.

I heartily agree with Paul; European river cruising is wonderful. One recommendation is to get a cabin on highest deck so you have decent scenery. We were on Amacello and had 170 sq ft with french balcony cabin; reasonable size.

It`s not too hard to see that is a church. It`s kind of difficult though to say which part of Europe, there are not too many signs in this picture, but it doesn`t seem like France.
