Morning Mates,
Winter temps are back here in my little corner of Nova Scotia. It's chilly, cloudy, and some snow is on the way once again, probably not till tonight, but it's coming...
It's a busy day for me, Aquafitness, and 2 of my school gym programs, plus a lunch meeting in between. I'll be a happy couch potato by tonight!
Wishing you all a good day, and special prayers sent out to Laura (Cruznut2) on the loss of her dear sister.
Good Morning CruiseMates,
It is a wee bit nippy here, as we once more find ourselves back in the single digits. That should last until about Sunday then it will warm up a bit.
This morning I need to get things in order so I can head out this afternoon. The floor in the kitchen needs to be mopped, the dishes unloaded from the dishwasher, the cat litter cleaned, pellets unloaded from the truck and an overnight bag packed for d/s and I.
I think at noon we'll hit hit the road for Indy. Probably grabbing lunch along the way. d/d's appointment with the ENT is at 2:30, and then on to the hotel where we plan to swim and frolic in the pool until d/h gets off work and comes to pick d/d to take her home with him. d/s and I will spend the night in Indy and he will report for surgery at 6:00 a.m. I am guessing that will mean we should be on our way home by noon or 1:00 which will be good. That way d/s won't have to go as long without food, since he can't eat after midnight tonight.
I guess I better get moving. My thoughts and prayers will be with Laura today, as well as Todd & Fran, Delft and Luanne. Hang in there folks it's almost Friday.
It is dark outside but we are in the harbor and the tenders will be tendering in about 30 minutes.
We've been having a great time and really enjoying ourselves. We were in Acapulco yesterday but had to cut that short because my brain decided it wanted to be back on the ship.
I'm still doing my best to collect on Betty's life insurance. We para sailed in Cabo and loved it. Even I went for a fun and peaceful ride.
Here's Betty:
Betty decided to send me back a bit farther.
I hope everyone has a great Thursday. I know I will.
Take care,
Mike

Wishing d/s a speedy recovery and that he will be back up running around in no time. As for you B.W. hang in there I know it’s hard when it’s one of your babies, everything will be fine.
Mike… Betty looks like she’s having a blast. Glad to hear your having so much fun .
As always Todd my prayers are with you and Fran.

Have a great vacation
Good morning all from NY where its snowing with some of the largest flakes I ever saw .This is not an expected snow .It was supposed to be a picture perfect sunny day
118 days to my first (non cruise) 2010 vacation
Good Morning Mates,
Snow today... it is cold...it is winter.
Off to pharmacy to pick up script for eye problem, then off to work. Hopefully just a few hours today as yesterday was an 11 hour day.
I am tired...nothing new.
I need to finish booking cruise excursions - I hope I can muster up some excitement or enthusiasm for the impending cruise. I guess life is just overwhelming right now.
Waiting for Todds morning post to see how Fran is doing. Praying for Laura and BW's childrens.
Sorry I didn't get around to my morning post until well after lunch but got caught up in a number of chores similar to which B/W and Aerogirl were referring.
I'm taking Fran out in a few minutes to the store. I want her to get out into the sunshine as we're due for 5 to 9 inches of snow beginning tomorrow afternoon. While to one who spent almost 30 years in the Hudson Valley that's only a dusting, here in upper East Tennessee nothing and I mean nothing moves until either the roads are cleared or it melts with the latter usually occurring prior to the former!
I have to be honest and tell everyone that Fran is not doing well. She is becoming increasingly fatigued almost by the day. I wanted her to go in and get a CBC this week but she adamantly refused which leads me to believe she's concluded what's causing the fatigue. We're both still praying it's not the case.
If she is out of remission, I told her all that means is she goes back on chemo and she didn't find that so difficult the first time. Of course such an argument is never going to allay her fears but I don't know what else to say.
Even though you probably won't see this until you get home, B/S, our prayers will be sent Heavenward this evening that all goes well in the morning as I'm sure it shall.
Also of course, our prayers go out to Laura at this difficult time.
You called me BS.... that's a freudian slip if I ever heard one...
D/s and I are having a blast tonight. We played in the hotel pool and after d/h and d/d left we had a wonderful dinner together. I am really thankful for the one on one time tonight. He's in the bath tub right now and he hollered out... dad and sissy arereally missing out because we've had such a great night! Made me feel good that this is a special time for him.
Thanks for all the prayers and positive thoughts. You guys are the best!
