to say that we are excited about next week's game is putting it mildly

1) the big Mardi Gras parade scheduled for Sunday the 7th, has been cancelled due to the game
2) on Tuesday, following the Super Bowl, regardless of whether the Saints win or lose there will be a Mardi Gras style type of victory parade that is expect to draw more spectators then Fat Tuesday (which means more than 1.5 million)
3) today, to honor the late Buddy Dilberto (Buddy D.) a famous local sports broadcaster and huge Saints fan in died in 2005, who before he died vowed to dawn a dress and dance thru the streets if the Saints ever made it to the Super Bowl, there will be a parade of thousands of men in dresses lead by former Saints QB Bobby Hebert
4) the NFL marketing folks got caught with their pants down because they did not copyright the "Who Dat' phrase and tried to gain a court injunction against teeshirt makers (who are making a killing selling anything with Who Dat on it)...after a public outcry, the NFL is trying to back away from the controversy
The Saints incredible season has had the effect of causing the citizens of the Gulf Coast to look forward and continue the rebuilding effort as opposed to looking back at the nightmare of Katrina. If the Saint can go to the Super Bowl, we can and will continue to rebuild
5) the Saints defensive coordinator Greg Williams indicated the defense will show no mercy to hometown hero Payton Manning and hope to dispatch him the same way we dispatch Kurt (into retirement)and Brett (who is giving it serious consideration following the butt whipping he receive at the Dome)
can't wait for next Sunday
