I'm supposed to have the once a year IV Reclast for my ostoporosis next Monday. I've seen some "scary" posts on WebMD about the side effects. I've also seen posts that say "no big deal".
I'm thinking that people who had a bad experience are more likely to post a review of their IV (just like here!).
If you've had this or know someone who has, what do you think?
I appreciate anyone's opinions!

Well I haven't had it but, I did hook my Mom up with it because she could not tolerate the oral counterpart, I think that drug was Fosamax. (I showed up unexpectedly at her Doctor's appointment:evil:, since she cancels all the Doctor appointments I make for her), The doc asked her about taking Fosamax or Boniva etc... and Mom said she couldn't tolerate the drugs because it was too hard on her GI tract, so I asked the Doc if she could do the IV Reclast, the Doc said OK and Mom had no side effects or issues with it. I was thankful for that since I think my Mom has shrunk several inches in the last few years. Preserve them there bones, you might need em!
