I have a new grandson!!!

It is with great pride and joy that I announce the birth of our second grandson, Zachary Ryan, born on January 21st, at 6:32 p.m. weighing in at 8lbs. 4ozs. and is 20 1/2 inches long. I have been up in Herndon for almost three weeks helping both mom, dad, big sister Becca, and baby Zack. There is no greater joy than being a grandparent!

Thanks so much, to my fellow cruisemates, for their congratulations on the birth of Zachary Ryan. Both mother and Zack are doing well but Zack's mother is very tired since Zack has his days and nights mixed up. Rob and I left the Washington D.C. area on Friday since the snow storm came with a vengeance. Another storm is due on Tuesday or Wednesday; the fourth in a little more than a week!

How wonderful for your family! Dirk and I measure the past in terms of our grandchildren. We remember when Justin could barely reach the pool table and now his 11 year old self is taller than I am and when he was thrilled by his Fisher Price tugboat which he thought was the greatest. Now he keeps asking to cruise with us.
Enjoy the little one, especially when you know that they eventually go home and peace will return to your home

aww THATS AWESOME kids are so great. I never knew the joy of having a child or to see the joy in my in-laws face every time they see her...Mine is 7 months old and i can not believe she has grown sooooooo fast so just spoil them while you can lol. When you can post some pictures and tell us where to look.
