I have been at a Saints Super Bowl party and YEAH BABY we won the Super Bow! And we didn't just win, we won by 14 points! To say the very least New Orleans is on top of the world right now!
This may be the last post you see from me, because I just told some (carfully choosen word inserted) **idiot** on another thread to BITE ME! :evil: he was slamming New Orleans and the Saints and it was totally uncalled for because obviously the 'person' is a fool! But anyway we are the Super Bowl Champions!!! Yeah Baby!
I have no voice left, and very little energy, and if I'm still on here tomorrow, I'll be back yelling WHO DAT!
Wow, what an historic ending! Hollywood couldn't have scripted it better! Congratulations Venice wherever you are! And congratulations to "New Awlins" fans everywhere!!
It is the first time I wasn't even not upset but I was actually so very happy when the opposing team won!

I have Venice and the rest of you to thank for a Trivia win last week.
This is "Shout Out" Trivia, the first person to shout out the answer wins, and I'm never fast enough.
Well the question was "WHO DAT? is the anthem of which US football team?" and the whole pub was stumped (we're not much into football here).
I was shocked to realized I knew the answer and shouted out NEW ORLEANS SAINTS!! Even the Trivia guy looked surprised!
My husband said "How on earth did you know that?"
I said simply, Venice and CruiseMates!

glad that all of my fellow cruisemates share in the warmth of TC and myself (and other Gulf Coast residents of the Saints big win)...I choose not to respond to another thread that was not in the spirit of our board postings, because a) it will disappear faster and b) it was not worthy of a response..i do however continue to extend the invitation for that person to come and visit New Orleans and become a part of the rebuilding effort that the Saints season so personified
RD...check your mail in about 2 weeks, I'm sending you a Who Dat teeshirt (they are all sold out at the moment) that you can wear proudly as an honorary member of the Who Dat nation, at your next hockey game (you do know that N.O. had a professional hockey team for a few seasons, so we know something about a blue line)
WTG! As Frank said, the best team won! There was no doubt in that.
The Saints may have won the game, but it is a win for all of New Orleans. TC, did you feet quit dancing at any time, during the game?
There was a large contingent of Hurricane Katrina transplants, who partied here -- complete with Mardi Gras costumes and make-up! They may have been in Houston, but their hearts were in New Orleans.
And in New Orleans, I'm sure the party is still in full force!

Venice my friend, I could not resist. After all the city and the Saints, and myself personally have been through, this winning season for the Saints has been an emotional uplifting for all of us. I could not graciously take the insult. (and the fact that I had been at a super bowl party since about 3 in the afternoon)
It was a great game, and yes Kuki that onside kick was a very ballsy move AND it changed the momentum of the game!

TC, congratulations, the best team won. After having to listen to the lady at the bird store yesterday morning say Manning is better than Joe Montana. I became a Saints fan.
