Guess what? it's snowing again - and heavily I might add, so much that all schools in the area have canceled classes for the day, which means I get a day off!
Right now, I'm looking at the winds blowing the snow sideways across the fields down the road. Visibility is not good for driving, so I guess I'm staying home and hunkering down with a good book today...
Actually, I just might re-watch the LOST episode I taped last night. It just boggled my mind, and I have to see if I missed anything!
RD, you awoke to snow, and I awoke to beautiful sunshine! We have had so much rain during the last few months, it is such a nice change to have sunshine and milder temps.
I guess it's time to see if I have everything in order for our taxes. Shouldn't be too big of a deal, so I'll hand those off.
Everyone have a great day. Prayers for those in need of a healing hand or comforting.

Good Morning R/Donna and Darlene as well as to all of our CruiseMates on land or sea! For those who spent yesterday in New Orleans, the land this morning probably feels pretty much like the sea.
Enjoy your snow day R/Donna and you, Darlene, your sun filled one.
Hope everything went beautifully for your son yesterday, Beenie/Weenie and Mike, hope you're feeling a lot better today.
Fran got our lists yesterday for tax purposes of what we paid in prescriptions. My total charges were almost $11,600 while Fran's were $1,800. Thankfull we have a wonderful prescription plan and we only had to pay $1,300. To me at least, today's cost of prescriptions (along with just about everything else) is mind boggling. But then again, many of us wouldn't be here today were it not for them. Both Fran and I certainly wouldn't be.
Speaking of costs, there is one item in the grocery that stands out that when one takes into consideration all factors, has actually gone down since the early fifties. That is the price of eggs.
T'was a wonderful day yesterday. Fran saw her Oncologist and although we were expecting to learn the opposite, she got a very decent report, so I took her to one of the more upscale places buffets for lunch.....our favorite Chinese Restaurant at about 7 bucks apiece. No, no, stop applauding, I thought it was pretty classy myself!
Though a bit chilly outside, there was only a dusting of snow when I arose.
A bit later I'm going out to buy a new printer (AIO excepting the fax option which I've never used). Found a good deal at Staples (a decent HP that retails for $199 for $149 plus I get an extra 50 bucks off that price as well if I bring in my cartridges from my old printer). I'm certainly no expert on printers but I thought the best I'd ever used was the one in the office back when I managed the two apartment complexes and this appears to be an upgraded version......plus, I won't have to keep buying new ink cartridges what seems like every month and a half as I do now for my current one. My present Kodak looked as if it were a great deal when I first bought it a couple of years ago. As is so often the case with Todd and his printers, it was a huge mistake.
Prayers continue unabated as well as the call for multitudinous Blessings on everyone.
I am so happy and rejoicing with Todd and Fran at their wonderful news!!! I know they were bracing for the worst, but thank God for unexpected and pleasant surprises!
As for d/s, the medication I gave him before the Doctor's appointment made him completely loopy. We were cracking up while he mused at the size of his big toe, and went on a hunt for one of his missing toes. Which was somehow rematerialized after he started counting them and when he got to #5, he was relieved to see they were all right where he left them. As a result he felt no pain, the experience was completely drama and trauma free. Thankfully! He has been promoted to his aircast and will not go back to the doc for another 3 weeks. At which time he'll have Xrays and probably start thinking about putting weight on the foot a week or two after that.
Well we're expecting a bit more snow today. We need this like we need another hole in our head. Later today we're headed back to Indy for d/d's sleep study. I hope we can all get a decent night's rest. Because d/h is teaching in Bloomington it is just simpler for him and d/s to stay in a hotel in Indy tonight, while d/d and I stay at the sleep center. That way he doesn't have such a long commute in the morning and I don't have to worry about having a sitter stay with him tonight til d/h gets home and tomorrow morning til I get home.
Well that's about it for today. Hope you all are well, and have a great Wednesday!
It's not snowing today, but we got enough yesterday. The weather forecasters predicted 3 inches and we actually got 10. I guess you can say that we were not short-changed.
Whatever your weather is I hope you all enjoy your day.
TM

Good Morning ,I hope everyone has a Wonderful Wednesday .3" of snow was predicted for here but we only had 1",however,snow is predicted for tonight and tomorrow .Its 32 and sunny .12 days till March and hopefully warmer weather
Good morning from Virginia Beach, where it started out as another chilly day. This afternoon, it is supposed to reach 49 degrees. After I went to the gym, I went to the bank and then did food shopping. Even though gas prices are lower I do all my errands "in one fell swoop". Gosh I sure can't wait for spring! Have a happy day fellow cruisemates!
After going outside to get the paper, I read the title of the Good Morning Thread, "Snowy Wednesday." Mother Nature is truly amazing. The sun is shining here, and we will squeeze out another warm day with temps in the 80's. Tomorrow it will start to cool, but even so, a warm day.
Todd, what good news to read that Fran got a good report from the oncologist.
BW, also nice to hear that your son is progressing nicely.
I thought I'd be torn between figure skaing and the Westminster Kennel Dog Show, but the latter was nowhere to be found.
