From my favorite movie "The Miracle Worker"

Annie Sullivan: [after a breakthrough with Helen] Now all I have to teach you is one word - everything.

From "AIRPLANE'

Elaine Dickinson: "There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?"

Mine come from cop movies (now why would that be the case ) and include that famous phrase from Bruce Willis' original Die Hard that I can't repeat so I'll have to go to Clint Eastwood's Dirty Harry Character when he said, "Go ahead, make my day!"

Two lines from the New Centurians the first being right after a Cop blows away a bank robber and says, "Da-Da-Dats all folks!" The other one is "Freeze or name your beneficiary!"

This may be apocryphal but I personally believe a good acquaintance who was a motorcycle cop who fulfilled a long held dream by being in the perfect situation to use a line from the book (as opposed to the movie), "The New Centurions," when he pulled up alongside an oblivious and intoxicated driver and yelled, "GRAB A PIECE OF THE CURB, A _ _ H _ _ _! " The drunk did too. He was so drunk he pulled up over the curb and onto the sidewalk. The officer continued saying it was all he could do to stop laughing long enough to put the idiot under arrest.

"Fill Your Hand You Son of a *****". From True Grit:

Take care,
Mike (Who also has a number of quotes from my second favorite movie, Pulp Fiction) but can't remember one I can post.

My favorite should be obvious .
From the Wizard of Oz, Glinda the Good Witch to Dorothy ...

"Are you a good witch ... or a bad witch?"

When my children were little we watched this movie over and over again, they would act out their favorite scenes, when DVD's became popular we had to get it on DVD. Now my daughter is looking for it on blue ray for her babies to enjoy.

I can never remember movie quotes, but I sure can remember some great lines from the TV series LOST!
My favourite from last week's episode was at the burial of John Locke,
"John Locke, he was a better man than I'll ever be, and I'm sorry I murdered him" - Ben Linus.
