Just a quick note while this thing is working....
My computer has been infected with a nasty virus - several in fact, and may have to be hospitalized.
If I disappear for a few days, you'll know why....but I'll be back!

I hope that you can cure your computer and it doesn't cost you more than a new one. I spoke with a friend of mine in Boise and his computer became infected and he took it to the "Geek" boys and ended up with a $490 charge. Ouch! It was a five year old system and, of course, he didn't do backups. They basically wiped the drive and reinstalled the operating system. For all that money he lost everything. I hope you do backups.

I too am having a computer problem but it isn't virus related. My main system's CPU cooling fan has gone out and I am waiting for a replacement. I'm using one of the other laptops while I wait for the part. I don't know if I can handle the $14 replacement cost.
