Good morning to all CruiseMates everywhere and all the ships at sea!
I have to presume that RollerDonna's computer is still not computing as a result of a viral illness. It seems strange someone else other than she or Henry is opening up this morning's thread but I guess it's gotta' start somewhere.
There's a dusting of snow on the ground and the temp outside is 28 here in upper East Tennessee. I guess a dusting is all we'll get but I Fran just hung up the phone following her daily conversation with her niece in Staten Island and they already have three or four inches on the ground.
As things appear now, Trip all you're going to get is liquid.
Also you B/W, Laura and most others will enjoy dry weather today. Notice I didn't say "warm" necessarily, only that it'll be dry.
Oh to be young again as your son BeenieWeenie and bounce off the walls even when casted up. Some of us are now of the age we have a tendency to fall when walking a straight line and when we do, we often end up breaking a hip or knee! Well as they say, "Gettin' old sure ain't for sissies."
Hope all of our CruiseMates young and old alike, stay safe out there wherever you live and have a wonderful Thursday. And remember, tomorrow it's TGIF!
Good Morning Todd and all CM"s to follow. I have been out this morning already, It is a chilly day here in Florida. Todd you are right it is dry, sunny and windy windy but dry. Quite chilly at 48.
I am home today but have much to do here. Have a great day everyone.
Laura

It's a nice February day here in the land of "The 10,000 Lakes and 10,000 Fish". I hope that one isn't true. In a couple of hours I'm heading out on the trek to Northern Minnesota to catch the pesky perch. It is an annual trip that six lifelong friends take every year. It will be a good time even if we don't catch a large number of perch. I doubt we'll be shut out and should have at least enough fish for a Friday or Saturday fish fry.
I won't be back until Tuesday so I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
Take care,
Mike

Good Morning cruisemates! I hate to ruin everyone's day, but it is a spectacular morning in Scottsdale. Clear blue skies; sun shining brightly, and temps heading to the mid 70s.
It is also Mrs. Kuki's last day in Arizona, before heading back to Calgary, and back to work next week. She can't believe how the 10 weeks here have flown by. I've got one more month here, and I think she's welcoming the break
She's headed to Tempe today to spend the day with Kuki Jr, while I golf with friends from home. Then she'll meet up with us later for dinner out.
For the next month at least there'll be no arguing about who gets the car that day.
Yesterday I managed to get some tickets for a couple of spring training baseball games, beginning next week, and I'm really excited about becoming a bleacher creature for a bit.
Today is our day between showers. It sure is a beautiful day. Not quite as warm as what Kuki is getting, but so much better than we've had.
I think my household is on the mend. It has been a long stretch of bronchitis, first with me, and then DH.
Kuki, you mentioned spring training games -- I would enjoy that.
Mike, have a great trip, catch lots of fish! But, uh, isn't it going to be cold? Couldn't you and your friends find something to do where it's a little WARMER!!!!
Everyone have a great day. Not much on my agenda, but I'm good with that!

Good morning cruisemates. I haven't stopped by in a while so I thought I would say good morning to all. It's a cool and sunny day here in the panhandle of Florida. There are "flakes" in the air but it's not snow. The area behind where I work is being cleared for a WalMart and they are burning piles of downed trees so we have ashes floating in the air and landing on all the vehicles in our parking lot. Great!!
Happy b'day to Beenie..........

Not much on the agenda for today. Just going to do a little schoolwork with the kids. Take a quick trip to the grocery store for a couple of items and then who knows what!
Been doing a little trip planning for my June Cruise on the Triumph. Figuring out where I will be doing my open water dives and how to balance that with what the kids will want to do. Just more of the usual juggling act.
The cat woke me up at 4:00 a.m. and I am longing to go back to sleep now. Unfortunately, I could not go back to sleep while it was still dark out.
At this point I am trying to get caught up on laundry and stay awake long enough to throw it on the bed and we'll see who gets to fold it later because I am not in the mood .
It isn't cold. You just have to dress right and the heater I have takes the temp inside the pop-up fish house from 0 to 60 F in about three minutes. If you kept it on high it would turn into a sauna.
Take care,
Mike

Good morning from Southern California. Looks to be a sunny, nice day but rain tomorrow, a fairly significant storm, they say.
Mike, have fun and catch lots of perch!
Happy birthday, Beenie!
Todd, well, now we know who rules the roost at your house: it's all those cats with looong tails and loooonger names!
Not much going on here. I have a six-month appt. with the radiologist this afternoon.
Good evening from Virginia Beach. I had a busy day, first going to the gym and then going to the mall to buy birthday gifts and to take advantage of all the sales. Yes, I did buy more clothing than I needed to but let's face it what woman's closet isn't brimming with clothes! A sale, is a sale, is a sale. I just got back from work and hope that all of my fellow cruisemates had a wonderful Thursday. Beenie, hope your birthday was a good one!
