Default Pt 305

for you WW2 fans, the WW2 museum is restoring a WW2 PT (305) boat which will be able to go into the water...there are only 3 shells in the country, the other two are beyond restoration

volunteers from all across the country (including 1-2 remaining from WW2 who actually served on a PT boat) are helping with the restoration

when i watch the history channel one of my favorite stories is the PT boat that took General Douglas McArthur out of the Phillipines or the story about PT 109 with President John F. Kennedy

McHale's Navy does not do justice

Venice, that will make a WONDERFUL addition to the museum. I too loved the movie, PT109, and who couldn't enjoy McHale's Navy, with the wacky Tim Conway. I hope to get back up to the "Big Easy" one of these days, and back to the WWII museum. Thanks for the info!
