Need some help on colors for shoes & purse

I took that applique class and I learned a lot. I'm doing a new quilt project and I have two blocks completed. This will be wall hanging with three blocks across and three blocks down. So I would do a shoe block on each side of the purse block. This means I need two more shoes and two more purse. What colors would you do? I have some fabrics in the following colors.
Here are the blocks I have already started. I still need to sew around the applique. I think they came out cute. Hope I don't screw them what when I do the sewing.

I would go with the 2 blues,and the yellow and orange..great look! Are they are the same handbag?

I have only done two blocks so far. I took a couple of pictures of the blocks because I knew some would be blurry.

Captain Tennille it' always good to get people's opinion. I know Trip is an expert at shoes. I think we have other shoe experts on this site. I thought it would be fun quilt to do when I saw the patterns.

I'm not sure I understood the question, as I'm not a quilter or a sewer, but if you're looking for a background colour, I'd go for the light blue.
Everything else would be too distracting.

I don't want all the shoes and purses to be the same color. So I'm wondering what other color shoes and purses I should make. The backgrounds will all be the beige color in the pictures. So which colors look good with pink shoes and purse?

I'm not a big shoes guy, but I do like purple, as it's an elegant, royal color.

Kat - personally I think all of the colors you have posted in your first post would look great on this quilt! They do compliment each other.

Hi katlady, a little OT here, but do you know of anyone who makes T-shirts into quilts?

We have quite a collection and would like to do something with them!

I think the purple and blues would look good with the pink bag and shoes .

I'm a beginner so I have never made a T-shirt quilt. Your best bet is to find the local quilting fabric store in your area. I bet they would know someone.

I like the purple a lot, but I think purple and blue together would be to similar. I might go either blue and yellow or purple and yellow. The yellow will make it pop. Thanks to everyone for your ideas.

I have been lazy with this quilt I really need to get in gear. I think I do better with a dead line since this quilt is for me I'm not in a big hurry.

kat, if you really want the pink to "pop" then go with the green
