I think I'll book three cruises back to back for February 2011! 2- four days followed by a six day, that's crazy isn't it??? The prices are just so good I can't resist! I truly am addicted but I am not looking for a cure or therapy

Sounds wonderful! You are going to have a great time! I felt the same way after cruising with our small children the first time. It was the best thing I could do for my entire family and it was a true "vacation" I really needed. I remember feeling so bone dead tired, completely burnt out. The idea of taking a traditional land vacation seemed as though it would leave me more exhausted than I was before we left. There were some resorts out there that catered to families with small kids but they wanted mega bucks and that was out of reach at the time.
Then we took our first cruise, it was on the Carnival Sensation out of NOLA, the kids were two and four and we were hooked. It was great because we could drive to the port and I remember how excited I was the first time I saw the ship before we boarded it. The kids are now 7.5 and 10. They've cruised 14 or 15 times now, even the Med. They've done and seen things that most kids will only read about in textbooks. A few weeks ago in church the Sunday School lesson involved the persecution of the Christians by the Roman's, their teacher showed pictures of the Colliseum in Rome... my kid's said, hey! we've been there!
I don't think you'll ever regret your addiction to cruising, it has brought so much to our family. I still enjoy my land vacations as well, but I am still in love with cruising...
There's nothing at all crazy about three cruises in a row. We've never done three in a row, but have several b2b cruises, and have four more b2b's coming up. They will be, respectively, 20, 21, 19, and 14 days long. If that's crazy, I don't ever want to be sane!

My husband will be horrified that you all encouraged me to do this but alas, I value your opinions and recommendations and especially your support of my addiction so with my credit card in hand I am about to make my reservations. My brand new PVP is really going to love me. My kids are thrilled at the very thought. We'll have to work at figuring out some logistics but I am so excited.
Beenie, you are so right, cruising in my opinion too is the absolute best value for families out there. I really thought it would be harder but the good parts are so worth the added work.
Todd, I will have to hold back on adding the fourth to the chain for now, unfortunately I still have to work to make enough money to cruise and this means that I will have to return to Canada instead of having that extra cruise time!
I would love to do a group cruise but Hawaii isn't an option for us this time around, I do have a cruisemates cruise on my bucket list though!

Sounds like a blast! I'm taking a cruise on Monday and another one the week before Thanksgiving. I tend to like to space them out, but if I could, I'd definitely go back to back.
Is it on the same ship? My only worry there would be seeing the exact same shows over again.
If you guys have never done a Cruisemates group cruise, keep checking for one that fits your schedule. They really are fun and its great to cruise with a group. You can do lots of group things or not, its always up to you.
