TALK ABOUT BAD PLANNING!

Have you ever bitten off more than you can chew??? Well here is an update on our hectic time schedule for the next three weeks:

Today, Tomorrow, & Saturday...First moving sale before the move to Mexico

Saturday Afternoon...driving to Seattle to spend the night prior to our Alaska cruise 6-27 to 7-4. (This is the fun part!)

July 4... Our cruising friends, Valerie and Mike, are coming over for a July 4th barbecue after the cruise.

July 5 & 6... continue packing for the move

July 7,8, & 9... Second and final moving sale

July 10,11, & !2... More packing, house cleaning before the move

July 13 & 14... Moving stuff to storage rental.

July 15&16... final preps for the move

July 17... Avett Bros. Concert at Edgefield in Troutdale, near the Columbia River gorge.

July 18... Begin the long drive to Patzcuaro, Mexico

July 22... Arrive in Patzcuaro, Mexico

July 23 Live happily ever after, lol

I AM GOING CRAZY O.M.G. I'm taking bets on whether or not it all works out! Hmmmmmm????? I have my doubts. Time to take my blood pressure pills, lol.

Having done a long distance move just 9 months ago, you have my sympathies Chuck! At least I waited a couple months before throwing a cruise into the works though...

Thank you all for the warm wishes:

First day of garage sales is over thank goodness. I even had to deal with one shoplifter. I couldn't bevieve it! She carefully folded a beautiful tapestry I had purchased in Guatemala and placed it under her sweater that she was carrying, in such a manner that I wouldn't see it as she checked out.

I nicely told her that it would cost $10 for the tapestry and she got all flustered and left with her other minimal purchase. She probably took other things as well, of which I will never know. Oh well, she undoubtedly needed stuff! She appeared to have very little money.

Bonus I made $785 on the first day of the garage sale, eventhough it was a bit hectic at times. My cruise ship mojito fund is growing, YAHOO!

Thanks to all... I survived day two of the garage sale and did quite well financially. Now my mind is on the cruise and we'll worry about the move upon return. It's off to Seattle in the morning! Time to departmentalize my wee little brain I guess! Good thing I now have money for drinks and money to donate to the casino. What more could I want??? My mother always said "Ignorance is Bliss." Now I know what she meant. lol!
