I really feel pretentious, to keep writing a separate post for my wife but I do so as so many of you are following the original.
To refresh, Fran was scheduled for chemo last week but couldn't take it because one has to have a minimum white cell count of 4. Her's was 3.4 so they cancelled her chemo. As we were originally scheduled to leave day after tomorrow for a medical appointment in Ohio for me and then swing down through Indianapolis on the way home to see some folks, I was prepared and in truth I expected, we'd have to cancel.
Her WBC this morning was 3.8 BUT, her Oncologist said that was close enough so she is having chemo. She feels great and that is just as important as any numbers. He has cleared us to go.
The two of us can now start breathing again and prepare for our trip.
I know in my heart that everyone's prayers and that most certainly includes our beloved CruiseMates, have made the difference. Thank you all so very much for your continuing prayers and support.
God bless you both, and I hope that the good news continue.
