Default Where has the time gone?

I arrived in the US for the first time on 9-3-1957.

It has been great living here I even had some free trips to far away places such as Vietnam, Japan, The Philipines and Hawaii.

It's just that the time sure went by fast. And now I am a retired Senior Citizen

When I was 13 I began writing a journal of my everyday activities .I still do that ,I have 10 books of notes .As I begin to get memory lapses at age 67 I often refer to my journals .

When I was in my early 30's, I worked in Sears. One of my jobs was to put on fashion shows, select the clothes and write up the commentary. We had some older models [60]s ... one time while I was waiting by the fitting room for the models to come out, I listened to them banter back and forth.

One of the ladies said.....my body is getting older, but my mind is still back to like my 20's...well....that's where I find myself today..social security, creeky bones, and all, but my mind is rockin it Just like those ladies!!

When I was in college a friend said to me "If I can earn $10,000 a year I'll have it made" .We laughed .Those were the days
