Default Heat Wave Wednesday!

Morning Mates, from an unnaturally warm Pictou County. At 8 am it is already 22C, feels like 29, or 84F!! That is most unusual for this time of year.
And I put away all the shorts and sleeveless tops on the weekend....

Today is James' birthday, as well as our 9th wedding anniversary, and this crazy man I married has surprised me with another cruise booking!!

We are booked for March break 2011 ( I have a whole week off!) on the beautiful Ruby Princess, to Princess Cay, St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Grand Turk. 4 of my favourite places!!
That will really be something to look forward to in the dead of a Martime winter!

Todd, saw your last post last night, and hope to hear happier news later today. Please remember to take care of yourself as well, and try to get some rest while Fran is resting. We're thinking of you always....

donna

Good morning everyone from Fall like Minnesota. It is a beautiful morning with temps in the upper 50's and clear skies.

Donna: Happy Birthday to James. Happy Anniversary and congratulations on the next cruise.

I am at the verge of making a decision. We are booked on the Cruisemates, Chef Matt, Epic cruise on October 30 - November 6. I found out yesterday that a friend of mine is booked on the Carnival Liberty departing from Miami on November 6. He was wondering if I would like to also go. The rates are pretty cheap on this cruise and and I haven't cruised on this class of ship. I'm just wondering if I'll feel like doing a B2B. I haven't been feeling the greatest lately and I don't know if I'll be up to going without Betty. I'll figure it out.

Todd: I am hoping the best for Fran and that her temp can be kept under control. Remember to get some rest for you. You're no good to yourself or her if you burn yourself out.

To everyone: I hope you have a wonderful

It is a foggy cool day here. I am recouperating from our girls night out last night. Oh what fun we had singing along with Neal McCoy and making fools of ourselves. I can do that since I am old!
RD, Happy Birthday to James along with best wishes on your 9th. What a great gift he gave you even if it is a few months away. Like you said it is something to look forward to in getting out of the cold.
Todd, I too hope that the news today is good for Fran. We are all praying for you guys.
Mike, hope you feel like doing the B2B in Nov. I'm sure it would be loads of fun.
Everyone have a great day today.

Donna, Happy Anniversary and Happy Birthday to James.

Todd, please take care of yourself. Fran needs you as strong as possible.

Just found out that we should not get too much rain from Storm Nichole as it has made a move to the East.

Everyone have a good day.

Default Heat Wave Wednesday

Good morning, everybody. Our own heat wave continues, though not as extreme as it was. Temps will be in the 90's all week. I've read about the closet changes. Everyone here is still in summer clothes. Noone wants to wear woolies when temps hover around 100, not even the television anchors! Usually, you see at least a few of them in turtle neck sweaters and jackets. Not this season!

Todd, I am hoping and praying for good news for Fran.
Mike, I hope you will feel better, as well.
Donna, congratulations!

Today is gym day. I don't know if Keith should be doing that. He's still got a lot of bronchial congestion and coughing. Laundry awaits me.

Good afternoon from a rainy, seventy-four degrees, in Virginia Beach. Rollerdonna, give out best wishes to Jim on his birthday and congratulations on booking another cruise! Prayers go out to Todd and Fran that Fran may have a speedy recovery. As for Rob and I we went to the gym, showered and then went out to Smokey Bones for lunch; there was $10 coupon for $10 off a $20 food purchase in anybody is interested. Make it a great day, without rain!
