My First Applique Quilt

My Crazy sis requested I make a baby quilt for a coworker of hers. Since I was bored recovering from my surgery I found a pattern and started to work. I took an applique class and I wanted to use that in the quilt. So this quilt is fully done using applique. I'm a beginner so I can see all the places I wish were sewed nicer or more even. But hey it's a baby they aren't that picky right.

It's beautiful! Years and years ago, I started embroidering a quilt. That didn't last long! I admire your patience and persistence.

This is my 6th quilt I have done 3 baby quilts and 3 lap quilts. My sewing this the biggest issue. I feel like my lines aren't as straight as they should be. But the best way to learn it just to try it. I took the applique class so I wanted to applique a quilt right away so I wouldn't forget. My hubby helped me place the center bear. I liked the way he tilted the head.
