Default Request to help my reading.

I read all the posting in the chit chat and other threads and sections of Cruisemates.
I am having problems reading some of the entries. My eyesight is not the best, So I would like to make the following request.

1. Change the font of each entry to 4. That is what I am using now.

2. Click on the B for bold. Makes it easy to read.

3. Use Black lettering

4. Do NOT use color print. It is harder to read.

Is this asking too much? I know I do not govern this but it is only a request for my sake and maybe some others.

Thanking all in advance.

Default Request to Help My Reading

Ray, I think someone else requested this, as well. I try to comply, but it's such a habit using the small print that I forget. Will keep trying to remember.

Ray,
My apologies for frequently forgetting to enlarge the font size of my posts. It is not intentional, I just forget from time to time...Ok, I forget most of the time.

If by chance there is a post that is too small to read easily. You can hit "Control and +" at the same time and repeat until it is legible. To go back to the regular size hold down
"Control and -".

It isn't much to ask for folks to enlarge the print, but I am very forgetful... so if I mess up and forget to, please forgive me, it isn't intentional.

I'm not being sarcastic but I am having a hard time understanding this.

I am 70% blind in my right eye and have a pretty good astigmatism in my left eye. I also had a stroke six years ago and have a reading speed of around 80 WPM.

I set my default browser size at 150% and the print on just about any website is easy to read.

I also have screen resolution of 1440 x 900 on a 17" laptop screen.

When this font is displayed on my system it looks huge.

There are a number of things you can do with your computer's settings that will allow you to read things much easier.

I do agree that using different colors makes it hard to read the print.

Take care,
Mike

I have tried to enlarge the font whenever I respond to one of your posts Ray, and I've started doing it in the morning thread, simply because I find it easier to read also!
Even e-mail I'm finding too small to read, I enlarge everything there too!

But if you don't mind, I'll keep on signing my name in purple.....

Ray, I will be glad to make the change, not that anything I say is that interesting but I think it is a good idea. How do you do this change? Mike

Travelingmike-- When you are beginning to write you can see right above is numbers. it is the 2nd one from the left. click on 4. And just above where we are writing is a big black B. That means bold. Black letters. That makes is easier for me to read.

Sure appreciate what you are attempting. If you need any help email me: RBoudre984@aol.com

I appreciate all those that are trying to help me. When you get 90 we may all need help. Thanks.

If you go to quick reply you may not see the full format bar. Try the "reply to thread" instead and you will see font and size. For instance mine
right now for this post says:
Comic Sans MS and the next box is "4"
Good luck.

Just hope I am still actively cruising and posting when I am 90.
