Morning Mates, it is a sad Tuesday here at CruiseMates with the news of dear Fran's passing yesterday.
I'm sure we all have heavy hearts today, thinking of our beloved Todd and the pain he is suffering right now.
Even the skies are crying here this morning, heavy heavy tears, the heaviest rain we have had in the past 4 days.
Today I will go to work for the last time this week. I leave directly from there, which is already 1/2 hour closer to Halifax, and we will stay overnight close to the airport to be ready for a 6:30 am flight to FLL on Wednesday.
I am looking forward to seeing my dear sister on this cruise, and our cousin Penny from California.
If I don't get a chance to check in for the next week, know that I will be thinking of all of you, having a foo foo drink or two, and remembering Fran...
It is a sad day here at Cruisemates. Todd is on our hearts today and praying he is doing ok. Fran is now at peace with no pain. LuAnne I too hope she has met up with Joe and they are having a wonderful time cruising in a much better place.
RD, safe travels to you and so hoping you have a great cruise. Just wish I had one on the books.
LuAnne have a good trip to LA. and stay safe. I'm sure Josh doesn't care what shape the house is in so just enjoy yourself.
Good Morning CruiseMates!
Indeed it is a sad Tuesday. I would like to think Fran and Joe are having a great time and Joe is the new beneficiary of Fran's culinary talent.
I am sitting here not really doing much this morning. It looks like I'll be heading south on Saturday to attend Fran's visitation Sunday. I just about have all the arrangements made at this point. The kids wanted to come along, but I think that they can stay here and take care of their Dad.
Right now the boy is having a minor meltdown because he has to do a certain math program and he doesn't want to do. He is trying to play lets make a deal with me... if I don't have to it today, I'll do two tomorrow. I am so over it lol. He's gonna do it today. I guess I really am a big old meany head. It's my job.
Not much else is happening here. I better get off this computer and get moving.
Prayers of comfort being sent Todd's and Susannah's way. It's been a very sad week here for our CruiseMates family.
I too pass my condolences to Todd at Fran's passing he is in my prayers.
Sorry I have been so scarce, being very busy at work and home combined with the fact that for some unknown reason that Cruisemates kept popping up on the list of porno sites blocked (now fixed) at work has kept me off the boards.
My sweet little grandaughter Natalie turned 1 this month, however I am missing her big party on Sunday as I will be traveling to Kansas City for a work conference next week . We had cake and a small party on her actual birthday.
Is it time to go to Hawai'i yet??????

Good morning, A sad day indeed for many, my heart goes out to Todd and their family. BW... I happy to know you’re going down for the service. I'm sure it will do Todd's heart good to have you there. Good for you for standing ground with the math problem. My mom would tell me when I would try and put something off until tomorrow that “tomorrow never comes"!
A sunny and warm week in store for us here I’m sure to only have the bottom fall out early next week, the 30's brrr! I did have some good news yesterday. My niece after two year tying is expecting her first child. My sister’s over the moon on becoming a grandmother. Have a blessed day!

Good morning CM's. I sit here with a heaviness in my heart. Fran's passing has hit us all so hard. The anniversary of my Mothers passing is Thursday, 13 years and I remember how hard it was for me at that time. Todd please know that you and your loved ones are in my prayers.
Not a lot to do today. I had to go to Tampa this morning for a training. I set out but got lost so I never made it to the training. I guess I will fill up the day with things that need doing here or go to the mall and window shop. Have a great day all.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“
Sad, indeed, even though the sun is shining just as if nothing happened. A terrible thing Todd is going through.
I am finishing up laundry in preparation for our road trip Thursday to Phoenix. Keith is looing forward to seeing all his buddies. Brother Wendelll should be getting out of the rehab hospital either Thursday or Friday, so that is good news.
