Since RD is out cruising I guess I can start the morning thread for us.
It is suppose to be another beautiful day here with the highs to be 70. I love this weather, cool in the morning then nice in the afternoon. Today I will run a few errands then get things in order for our trip north to Springfield, Oh. D/H has a square dance to call there this evening, so I'll be dancing my self silly I'm sure.
So glad the Splendor made it make to the US yesterday. It was being towed to Calif. while the Royal Caribbean ship Allure was arriving in Florida. Busy on both coasts for cruise ships.
Hope RD is have a good time even if I am jealous.
Continued prayers for Todd. These next few days are going to be rough for him.

Good Morning CruiseMates!
Well I am hoping we have at least a few more days of this beautiful weather. It has been stunning here with temps in the 70's during the day this week. I am praying the kids are not coming down with something. They've both been complaining of not feeling "right". This morning d/h and I woke up to find every light in the house had been turned on and a cute little boy rolled up in a little ball on the living room sofa sleeping, with the TV on and playing kid's shows. I have no idea why he is out there. I must have been really tired, because I generally wake up if I hear a pin drop.

Later today d/d and I are going down for our pedicure/manicure together which should be lots of fun. Then I'll come back here, do a little laundry, pack a bag, then tomorrow after the kid's music lessons, I will head south to Tennessee. D/H will have some good quality time with the kids this weekend.

There isn't too much else happening for which I am thankful. I hope you all have a great weekend!

Hi Kids,
Bright and chilly, but getting warmer...yayay! This week, after getting home from a cruise, my week has disappeared without a trace...I can't believe how I can't seem to get it all done onmy to do list!

I have to repack, this time in just a carry on,and what I planned wear down to Miami, seems crazy now, as their weather is hot! Oh,well, we shall see, my mind has been mush,and Lucy is coming over....SpongeBob, may be calming for me

A little cool and cloudy here this morning. We did have some much needed rain last night. I'm off today looking for our turkeys for Thanksgiving. There's not to many sales on then this year it seems. We fry one and bake the other, but with the number of growing guests every year I'll need three birds next year!

Trip... I missed something, where are you off to now? and lucky you!!!

BW... Enjoy you spa services, you deserve it. Have a safe trip down to TN and of course give Todd my blessing.

Good morning from a rainy, warm Texas. I had to close up the house yesterday, because the humidity was making everything feel wet. We are suppose to have a cool front tomorrow, so I should be able to open things back again.

Hunting season has begun in Texas. Jim is either working or sitting in a little stand in a tree on post. He is a guide this year, which means he takes people to their stands, and then escorts them back out at the end of the day. Because the hunting area is in the impact area, you can't just walk around. ( Inpact= place where they practice dropping bombs)

Something new this year are the stands built for the disabled soldiers. Jim and some friends spent many a weekend, building them, so that there are no restrictions for those who want to hunt.

We leave on Monday for training. Well he will be training, and I will be spending time reading, and computer. We will only be gone a week, so it should be good.

I need to go out to the cemetary today. We are restricted on when flowers are placed. Real only in the summer, and fake in the fall. I need to take some fake ones for Joe's grave.

I am of to Miami, to board the Eclipse. I call this my volcano cruise, as it is the cruise for the media, that was cancelled in London, when the Volcano erupted in April....Off Monday, back Wednesday

A bright and sunny good morning from Phoenix. We made it here in one piece yesterday after a very windy drive.

The hosts have scheduled an array of events for us today. Keith is talking to Wendell. Wendell will go home this morning after three weeks in a rehab hospital. Unfortunately, he won't be able to go to any of the events since he still can't use his wheel chair. A physical therapist will come to the house and eventually, Wendell will be an outpatient. We haven't seen him yet. We might stay over and come home Monday.

Good morning from a very Fall like Minnesota. Actually Winter is on its way with snow forecast for tomorrow. Oh well, it has to come sometime.

I awoke at 4:30 a.m. with a plugged head and headache. It seems like the beginning of a cold or some sort of sinus problem. Oh well: Sudafed and juice are my friends.

We have opened Hard Liquor & Handguns Daycare for the weekend. The grandkids came last night and will be with us for the weekend while my daughter and SIL are doing business in Wisconsin. Betty had to drive my granddaughter to school this morning. It's a 35 mile drive to her school so both were up early.

Otherwise there isn't too much on the agenda but I know I'll be worn out by this afternoon.

Trip, have a great time on your cruise! I just got back from work; this is the busy season so I am taking advantage of the extra hours. Work will slow prior to Thanksgiving. Prays go out to Todd and his family. May G-d help him get through this difficult time.
