Foggy and cold start here today. Sun is trying to peek through but having a hard time. Todd has been in my thoughts all weekend. Hope BW had a safe trip home from Tenn. so she can update us on Todd.
Luanne, have a safe trip and enjoy the week in La. Trip is off today for Fl. and her 3 day cruise, and I am jealous. RD should be cruising away by now, waiting to hear all about it.
Good morning Sunny and cold here right now but making it up in to the 50’s, not so bad for Chicago!! Mike…. Have you dug yourselves out of the snowy tundra?? Our news said parts of Minn had over 12 inches of snow. Hope all is well on your end! Trip… once again Bon Voyage!!! Have a great time.

Good Morning CruiseMates!
I slept so good last night! I took a different route home and it went pretty quickly. I made it home in about 7.5 hours
I am so happy to report that Todd is doing very well. I posted an update.
In a bit I am going to load up the kids and head to Illinois to return my economy car (I miss my big truck lol) I hate the economy car! It is blown around in the wind and is like driving a sardine can. It made those winding mountain roads very exciting and probably is what kept me awake lol.
Good morning from Southern California. We are back home and it feels good. Weather was beautiful in Arizona and here in CA.
Thirty-some people showed up for the reunion. They are mosly in their 80's now, so that was a good turnout. One couple just got back from Brazil, so I had an interesting conversation with them. They also cruised around Italy earlier. One of the interesting facts was that security for both trips was so lax. Also, they were only charged extra for ONE bag coming home from Italy.
Keith had a short but nice visit with Wendell. The recovery news is pretty good. Wendell should be back using his walker by January. He was released from the rehab hospital (that he spent so much time in six years ago!) on Friday. A Therapist will come to the home every day until such a point that Wendell can become an outpatient.
Laundry is on the agenda for me, too, and of course, Keith will go to the gym.
Beenie, thank you for the update on Todd. I've been thinking about him, as well.
Donna should have lots of cruising war stories to tell when she gets home, and Trip, too. I wonder if Mike is shoveled out yet.
It's cloudy and cool here, but I have my sunny disposition to brighten things up. :-D
We are thinking of Todd and sending prayers and good vibes.
Wish you all a nice day.

It's a winter wonderland here in south central Minnesota. We had 11 inches of snow while 20 miles west of here they only had few inches. All is right with the world. It was heavy and wet and much of it is melting. There was a lot of tree damage and there are still some people in the metropolitan area still without power. I had a string of arborvitaes that were damaged. They don't look too pretty now but they will still serve their purpose as a windbreak. The roads were all cleared yesterday. The grandkids played in the snow, sledded and made a snow man. The first snow is always exciting for a kid. Snows like this aren't that big of a deal around here. We've been out and about all weekend. Yesterday, Betty took the kids to the movies before they went home.
I have NOTHING on the agenda for today so Betty and I plan on catching up on all the stuff we recorded while on the cruise. So it will be a day of being couch potatoes and sitting in front of the TV until Betty goes to work.
BW: Thanks for visiting Todd at the funeral and visitation. It was very kind of you.
I hope everyone has a great Monday and a wonderful week.

G'day cruisemates! I've been absent from the good morning thread (and most of the boards) for quite some time... with real life "stuff" getting in the way.
I was down in Az. for a couple of weeks, then came home to get things organized for my mother and her live-in caregiver. Renewed my mother's passport; got a US tourist Visa for the caregiver. And generally got things organized for them as they aren't coming south until Jan 1.
This afternoon I head back to Scottsdale, and seemingly just in time, as snow and colder weather forecast to move in her tomorrow.
Plan is to stay down there until our Get Lei'd 5.0 cruise at the end of Feb. and travel from there.
Hoping life in general has now stablized and I'm greeted in Arizona with nice weather, and lots of golf.
