Morning Mates, and welcome to another week. I can hardly believe it is the end of November already. We'll soon be into the last busy, panicky weeks
leading up to Christmas!
Yesterday was a busy day, got lots of cleaning done, and spent the afternoon outside putting up the Christmas decorations. Thankfully it was warm in the sun, and I was able to work without gloves.
I've also been busy writing a few more installments in my Miracle Cruise review, hope you all are enjoying it.
Well, its off to work for me today, I have a new assistant and I think she will work out just fine.
Have a good week everybody!
Good Morning CruiseMates!
Well things here are humming right along! I am counting down the final days til I head south to the warm weather to join my CruiseMates and old friends I haven't seen forever.
This trip should turn out to be a fun one and I am so looking forward to it.
The days are growing colder and shorter here and I know it is only a matter of time before winter hits us with full force. I am not sure what we'll be doing for Christmas yet. We are overdue to go up to Canada and visit d/h's folks. His Sister is going to be out of town so I am getting the impression that they do not want to go without some family around during the holiday. The next week or so is going to be a whirlwind. D/H left last night to go teach at IU's campus in Gary, IN so I won't see him til Friday Night, then I will leave early Saturday Morning. Then I will get home late Wednesday night.
Little Princess is still sounds asleep. We were all supposed to be heading to the dentist this morning but it seems the dentist had an emergency so they called at 7:00 this morning to let me know he wouldn't be there. I need to get some forms filled out so we can get the boy in for braces. His mouth just isn't big enough to accommodate all those teeth especially on the bottom row. So we're taking him into the IU School of Dentistry. It's a lot less expensive than the local orthodontist and they do those new Invisalign things for the same price as conventional braces. There's really no major rush at the moment so I hope d/s will enjoy his momentary reprieve.
There's not much else happening. I better get to packing my suitcase soon. Have a good day all!
Good morning everyone from a very nice Central Texas. Yesterday it was beautiful. Warm enough for the windows to be open. I did a good bit of cleaning, and cleaned out the frig.
I two, am looking forward to getting to Florida. So many people I have wanted to meet for so long. It is also a good reason for being with hubby, which is always a good thing.
The neighbors were putting up their decorations yesterday, and Jim decided to do ours. He made the mistake of asking me what I thought. My first thought was don't do it. I tried later to get him to do them, because he takes so much pleasure, but by then he was not in the mood.
It is a strange feeling to want to do what is normal, but to have this cloud over you saying "It's not right"
I will force myself to put the tree up, and we will exchange gifts, but the outside lights might not make it.
Today I will finish cleaning, and start getting things ready for our trip.
