Default One more question

Since I've only been on one cruise in the past 16 years and that was a 7 day cruise I now have another question re my upcoming 10 day cruise . Generally how much money does one take ? Hopefully I will get many opinions and it will help me greatly .

Your sail and sign card will be charged with your tips.... if you do any of the following it will show as well..photos, excursions, drinks, spa, shop purchases, etc..anything on this card, will be on your debit or credit card, you supply to them

Cash will be needed for transportation in ports, excluding the ships.
Any purchases in port...Don't forget tip money for the porters at the pier..taxi to and from the airport.

Cash is the magic word when buyingin ports..always ask, after you get the bottom line on any large purchase, if you pay cash, can they do better. Have some small bills, always...

I like to take $100.00 a day plus my credit card. I only use cash in port, on the ship I use my sign & sale card.

Henry... that's a trick question

It depends on if you spend time in the casino on the ship, and how much you and Mrs. want to shop for souvenirs, drinks, food, etc. in ports of call.

As Aerogirl suggested, $100 PP/per day is probably a good number, that you can most likely come home with cash from, unless you donate it to the casino gods

don't forget to have some cash stashed for the unplanned oh crap emergencies (you have to stay out to sea one more day..something happens on your return flight)..it's always better to come home with cash as opposed to having to go to your credit card for unplanned stuff

I agree, that should be plenty and most likely, you'll come home with some extra cash. It nice to be sure to have plenty than not have enough and need it.

When you get off the ship in ports, just take enough for the day, leave the rest in your cabin safe.

if she loves the casino, you have no worries, she will win enough on the first night of the cruise to cover the expenses of this cruise and pay for the next one ::

have a great cruise and enjoy the hydro therapy pool..you will sleep like a baby
