Default It's Saturday, and I'm leaving on a cruise!

Good morning, fellow cruisemates; in about a half an hour Rob and I are leaving for a cruise on Celebrity's Mercury, departing from Baltimore. We wish smooth sailing to those who are cruising and a wonderful day to those who are not cruising. I am thrilled to be going to warmer weather; it's thirty-three degrees in Virginia Beach!

Bon Voyage to you Balabusta! Wishing you smooth sailing and MUCH warmer temps!
Here in Pictou County, it's -4C with bright sunshine. I have to finish putting up Christmas lights outside today, it's going to be a chilly job....

I love having a whole weekend ahead of me with nothing important to do and nowhere I have to go. I will catch up on reading and knitting and just relax.

Henry, hope you are feeling better today, and are well enough to cruise!

Have a wonderful cruise.

I have sailed on the Mercury three times and they were all great cruises.

Bon Voyage Balabusta, and good morning to all of cruisemates.

Out enjoying morning coffee and sunshine out on the patio. Heading for record high temps in Scottsdale, and I'm loving it. (Apparently one more week of this, and then things turn cool before Christmas).

I did get my Arizona driver's license yesterday, so I'm not going to have to fly home to renew mine. Great deal, only $10 , instead of $700 in airfare.

Mrs. Kuki is still sleeping, but I think I may take her out for brunch later. Other than that we may just spend the afternoon by the pool.

I echo the above Balabusta.

Well, they're still afraid to leave me alone for too long , so I'm goin gdown to Clinton this morning. I'm supposed to come back tomorrow but a snow storm is on its way so I've said out enough food and water for the "kids" that they all will probably be very round fur balls by the time I get home.

So glad to hear Mike that you're progressing so well.

As always, prayers and a request for Blessings upon all my adored Cruisemates continue and especially thank you for all of your love and support during my recent very difficult period.

Love to all and have a grand weekend!

Todd

Good morning and Bon Voyage to Balabusta from "The Blizzard of the Century" of Minnesota.

It is a very snowy morning here. We are in the midst of a major snow storm. The official total is "7.2 inches" so far. We have about three or four inches more than that. There was about a four foot drift in front of the garages and the front door.

Luckily "The Little Woman" has done her "Wifely Duty" and cleared it out and the plow guy can handle the rest. She's a good wife and does my work when I'm not able to.

Today will be a do nothing day except keeping a path in the snow open.

I hope everyone has a great Saturday and wonderful weekend.

Take care,
Mike

Default It'sSaturday and I'm Leaving on a Cruise

Good morning from sunny Southern California. Kuki, we're sending you more warm weather. This is perfect weather for what I plan to do today: Christmas shop. Keith is long since off to Riverside and the Wright Flyer Project, so it's a good chance to shop for him and stash stuff when I get home.

Todd, it's really nice to see you posting. I hope it's a regular thing now. Would love to see a pic of your cats.

Mike, that's a pretty pic, but I'm glad I am far away from all that snow. I hope you're feeling better.

Henry, hopefully, that bug is gone and will leave you healthy for your cruise.

Enjoy your day, people.

Judy

Good morning from a very windy Texas. The temps were in the 50's so we opened the windows for a little bit yesterday.

Balabusta, Have a great cruise.

Henry, I hope you are feeling better today.

Todd, I am so glad you are posting. That thing about not being left alone will get to you after awhile. Enjoy it for now.

Donna, Be careful on the house.

Mike, Please stay out of the cold. You are more important than a little bit of snow.

Judy, Enjoy your shopping.

Kuki, Do you realize how lucky you are? Enjoy

I have a Christmas party to go to tonight, other wise I have nothing planned.

I hope all of you have a good day.

Luanne

Good afternoon everyone.

Bon Voyage Balabusta. I probably have missed you, but I wanted to wish you happy sails anyway.

Henry, I sure hope you continue to feel better fast. I'm glad you are not giving up on your cruise.

Luanne, I'm so glad that I finally got to meet you and your hubby at the party Monday night. I just wish everybody lived closer!

Todd, glad to hear the folks are keeping you busy and surrounded with love. Maybe the cats will call their friends and have a nice party while you are away since you've left them all those abundant refreshments!

Mike, I'm glad that your are taking it easy while you heal up. Betty is sure a hard worker, but I bet she ordered you to sit and stay! Nice to see you are being obedient. I'm also glad that I am here in Florida enjoying the sun and warmer temps. It's nice to just see pictures of the snow. :-)

Take care everyone.
Phyll

Have a great trip and your timing couldn't have been better with the storm heading your way. Getting out just in time.

Still waiting on the sun to come out here in Floridays. The weather man has been saying for two days it's suppose to be sunny and 70 but it is now 3:30 and the skies are still overcast and about 55.

Well maybe the sun will be a day late and we will be warm for the Jaguar game tomorrow. I much rather drink beer in sunshine that rain.

Regards,
Thomas

Thanks for all the good wishes, fellow cruisemates. Yesterday, we returned from a wonderful cruise aboard Celebrity's Mercury. I, like so many people are sad that the Mercury, was sold to another cruiseline. We loved the itinerary; in Charleston we went to Fort Sumter and visited the City Market where I more than indulged myself. As for Key West, we saw the marker of the southern most point in the United States, visited the Ernest Hemingway House, had great Key Lime Pie at Kermits and had lunch at Hog's Breath Saloon. While in Nassau, we took a tour of Atlantis and I treated myself to a Pandora bracelet at John Bull. Our table was fabulous!!! I can't wait until our next cruise!!!

When we arrived in Ft.Lauderdale on our pre cruise night we met a woman and her son who planned to fly from Minneapolis to Fla to board their cruise but were snowed in at the airport .They were able to get on a flight 24 hours later and arrived at the port 10 minutes after their ship left . They had to take a bus 325 miles at a cost of $618 to get them to the second stop on their cruise .
