Those who download the freebies...do you read many of them? I've been reading some. You get some better than others. Some are pretty good and others are pretty bad. I am currently reading one with a five star rating by a newbie and it is actually a five star book.

Codes, what's it about Henry?

Moiraine, from what I have seen a lot of ebooks won't go down in price for a long time, some publishers think that ebooks should not and so they don't.

I read a lot of free books, I am very picky in what I read, I read basicly only Cozies and really have not found many that I did not like. I always read the blurb before getting the book and if it does not capture me I won't get it. Just because a book is free is not reason enough for me to get it.

Thanky you Nancy. I've noticed that ENT has good offerings. I usually pick and choose from what they offer on FB. Sometimes the blurb sounds better than what the book is. I guess I should check the start ratings more often though. Oh well, if they are free you can always delete.

The one thing I love about the Fire, for me is, the pictures of the books on my shelf...It helps me sort of remember why I liked that title, if that makes sense. I follow about 4/5 free outlets on FB,and many times I just won't click on them daily, as I once did, when I got the fire...I know of someone, who is addictef to getting the free books.....in her lifetime left, she couldn't read them all. Over a 1000, I would say!!!

Not readiing exclusively on the fire, also doesn't allow me to whittle down my list of goodies. Right now, I am on the last few pages of Boca Daze, I got from the library. As a lifelong avid reader, I must say, at this point in time, I am thinking "books" more often then ever in my life, and it's almost tiring for me...I've always chased books, now, I sometimes feel they are chasing me lol

Sometimes free, sometimes not,and some authors not offered at all on Kindle yet...Contractual negotiations, amongst the involved, from what Steve Forman, the author of Boca Daze told me once...

Yeah, I am still reading "real" books too. Sometimes the ones I want to read are cheaper to buy through my club in regular form or they are not in kindle form. I can see where it would be easy to get a thousand freebies and not be able to read them all.

Default Kindles and iPads and Books, Oh My

For the first time since I've had my Kindle, I have nothing to read. I have lots of preorders, the first one of which comes Feb. 28. Many will release in April. Guess I'll have to go to the library.

Did you try Patricia Briggs? Or is she really someone you'd rather not? How about Kim Harrison? You might check her out. They are both paranormal or more urban fantasy.

Moiraine, I just bought Pale Demon by Kim Harrison.

Trip, I didn't see anything I wanted on Free Kindle. Will try again, though.

Judy, that's a good book but you need to start at the beginning if you've not read the rest of the series. Dead Witch Walking is the first one in the series...but if you are up to Pale Demon..then have at it and let me know how you like it. Her latest is out today but I've not bought it yet. Still working on some other stuff.

Here's a place to get some of the free Kindle Books daily: eReaderIQ.com | The Easier, Faster, Smarter Way to Kindle!

It's free and you get an email every day.

It doesn't cover everything, but I've found it helpful.

Well, I just bought A Perfect Blood, which is the latest Hollows book by Kim Harrison on kindle. My book club is sending me Lisa Gardner's latest D. D. Warren book. By the time I'm finished with those two Patricia Briggs should have the latest Alpha and Omega book out...and I've got plenty of freebies to read. I've still not read Inheritance because I need to go back and read the first three again.

I like the D. D. Warren books.

Isn't it time for a new Catherine Coulter FBI book?

I may have to read her other stuff, along with the Southern Sister series. I also have Laurell K. Hamilton's Merry Gentry series. It's not like I don't have plenty of books to read here. Oh, there there is the Stephanie Plum here in a few years.

For all you Stewart Woods fans, a new Stone Barrington book is coming out April 17 called Unnatural Acts.

Brenda, Coulter's next FBI book is coming out July 10.

Fern, thanks, I'll check it out.

Trip, I went on that site, and it said I missed the daily deal. I'll try again.

Today I got for free..the Stranger Beside You, and yesterday Blood Orchids.... look good

A new free site popped up on my FB page today....when I find it again, I will post it...

For serious readers, I would consider joing FB, just to get sites like these, and other companies one might favor, to get deals, coupons, etc....you don't have to be friends with the world, just to benefit your family.
