I just had Collateral Damage, by Stuart Woods, delivered to my Fire...I do wish there was a notification sound, to let us know of an arrival. This one starts off right where the last one ended..

We have both. My wife lovers her Kindle, and I have the Ipad. We both read all the time and with these readers we can carry as many books as you want without the weight. We don't pay more than 10.00 bucks for a book and we share some books with our friends. Great to have on any trip..
I have had a Kindle for a couple of years and have yet to finish the one book I have on it. Guess that and my two thousand books will tell you where my heart really lies. I also recently bought four books and have already read three of them (the best of which was Killing Lincoln).

New people post on here every so often and not all read an entire thread .
I just went and bought the last book in the Wheel of Time series, A Memory of Light, which came out a few days ago. I had a quick look at the reviews on Amazon before I did and found people who were angry that it was not published in ebook format at the same time it was published in hardback. They were refusing to read the book until the ebook version came out but gave the book a one star review and a rant. Seems kind of silly to me. I've been waiting for years for the last book and I'm happy to buy it in hardback.
It seems to me Amazon should have something in place to distinguish this type of "review," from the real deal. Passionate readere like you, realize, how silly it is.

Alaska 2014 - haven't picked a cruise yet
Carnival: Glory 2004, Destiny 2008, Splendor 2009, Freedom 2011, Valor 2012
Celebrity: Summit 2011
Princess: Ruby 2010, Caribbean 2013
I just finished A Memory Of light last night. I went back today to look at those reviews again. There were loads of the angry one star "reviews" because it's going to be April before the ebook comes out. *shakes head*
Judy, enjoy the books.
Bob, enjoy Ben Hur....I guess.
Trip, I know you're enjoying whatever you're reading.
I've got to take a break and get this house ready for mom to move in.
I just read Kim Harrison's latest Rachel Morgan book For some reason I had thought she was ending the series but that is so obviously not true. I guess I was thinking of the True Blood series. Anyway, it's another good book.
In 1986 I wrote 13 episodes of an original tv show .However,I could not generate interest from the networks . I am now thinking of re-writing and make it into a book .
I don't know how many of you read Robert Ludlum's Bourne Series, or have Netflix, but four movies were made from those books in 2002, 2004, 2007, and 2012. I can't wait to see them. Have any of you? What did you think of them?
Suddenly, I have at least half a dozen or more books that I just have to read NOW. The only problem is I might have time to read one if I'm lucky. I've been busy with my mom and am going to be busy with her for some time. No reading for a while. I'm in agony...which one will it be?
Lisa Gardner's new one is out just in case you guys want to know...
