I had some problems putting them on my kindle too, but my DS showed me to go into the kindle in my computer and then another file in there and it worked, so keep trying, you are bound to get it to work...Keep us posted.

Jacqueline, I'm so excited for you! That's just awesome! You're just going to have to do nothing but read from now until the end of time, to finish all those!
I should talk....I have about 200 unread on the Kindle and after I got a few more regular books last night, I now have about 40 unread of those. I think I need to quit working, so I can finish all my books.

Thanks! I have been making these for a few years now, with different variations. They are made from placemats. One I made, was padded with foam inside to protect a portable dvd player..This one will fit my Kindle and it's charger...I have a cover on my Kindle, and thismaterial is doubled, so it's well protected..the other I will use to put my jewlery designs in tio bring to the shop.

Yes, it's much easier to pretend like you're working while you're posting on the board! Pretty hard to convince them when you're reading on your Kindle.
Jacqueline, I just noticed your countdown clock. You'll have to let me know how the Magic is! You're sailing on her way before me.

Lovin' it Trip! My Kindle is also addictive. My poor DH is probably feeling very left out since I got it. I take it everywhere and read constantantly. He's not much of a reader so I got him intereted in Sudoku a few months ago and keep several of those books around for him. I even downloaded Sudoku on my Kindle for him to play occasionally. Like when we go to the doc's I will leave it with him in the waiting room to pass the time while I visit, then I will read while he is in with the Doc.
I just have to watch him carefully - he once left a $900 camera on a park bench and then an hour later missed it - of course it was gone.
We've been watching the Pretty Little Liars series on TV since it started last season and we both have really gotten into it. So I found the series of books and starting downloading them onto my Kindle - kind of wanting to read between the lines of the series and cannot put it down.
Also downloaded (free) the KJV of the Bible for daily reading.

Without having time to read the whole thread. I asked my wife to send back the $300 Sony Reader and got an Android Tablet made by Cruz - this thing was under $200, is color and accesses the web (thru wifi) just like an iPad.
I already love this thing, it is just like my Droid phone but bigger (same apps). I can buy books from Kindle, Borders, Library....
Plus it is color, and will do my email and browse the web. It can open docs, play music and videos, etc.
There may even be a way to dock it to my phone if I am not not near a wifi.
This page says $249, but mine was $189 from QVC. I KNEW when the iPad came out that other color readers with the same functionality would out soon, and cheaper. I LOVE this thing (did I say that yet?).

I'd love to have a tablet to play with! Thanks for the link, Paul.
For myself though, I wouldn't use it for reading. A backlit screen versus e-ink is no contest as far as what's easier on your eyes. Mine aren't getting any younger.

I love the feature with the Kindle that makes the font size any way you want, can't beat that IMHO....Also the holder with the light is great before I got to sleep and read in bed, no need for a light...
