Christmas Eve on the road
Godd morning everyone!
It's now about 5:35 am Christmas Eve day and I'm sicker than the proverbial dog, probably as bad as I've been in the last ten years. I am so thankful my niece DeAnna is here to help me, especially in view of the way I feel. My heart is also heavy this morning because one of my four cats, Jennifer, is also in the veterinary hospital suffering from I understand is some type of blockage in her intestines and she is not eating. I just lost Fran's favorite cat Winston and with all that's occurred, I just can't evencontemplate losing another at this time.
Because of the possibility of accumulating snow, we are moving our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners to the small town in which they live located about 20 miles outside of Knoxville (97 miles from here).
So we're packing up everything including the frozen lobster tails, prime rib, all the trimmings, even including the "adult beverages." I have a feeling I'm not going to be able myself to fix either meal. But everything possible that would be needed is in the pack up and I can oversee the lobster tails this evening even if I won't be able to taste anything.
I shall probably remain there until Tuesday and will not be posting.
I sincerely wish all of my Cruisemate family a very Merry and especially a safe Christmas and the Good Lord willing, will be back with you sometime Wednesday. As for now, it's back to bed for a few hours until I have to start packing up.
Todd

Good Morning CruiseMates!
Todd we'll be praying for you and Miss Jennifer today and hope you both bounce back quickly. Jennifer is such a little sweety and so are you, I hate to see either of you sick for Christmas.
I am so glad you'll be staying with Deanna. I know she'll lift your spirits and take excellent care of you.
Safe travels to both of you. Hope you get feeling better right away.

Todd! Hang in there buddy, it's going to get lots better. We too are praying for you and Jennifer to feel much better very soon. I have a feeling that you'll be yourself quickly, and little Jennifer will be on your lap as well. Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year to you and your whole family.

Todd...
I urge you to take it easy on yourself. I feel the unbearable sadness, and I just want to say that life often changes in unexpected and uncontrollable ways. Trust in God and accept the comfort in knowing his plan is sometimes beyond our comprehension but is always for the best.

Todd,
I hope you are feeling better today. I also hope that Jennifer is doing better and that the blockage can either be passed or removed.
Take care,
Mike
