I'm a concert pianist..............Just kidding but I can dream can't I?
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“
Yep,,,Tuba, Sousaphone, String Bass, Electric Bass, Valve Trombone, and I sing. I'm a U.S.Marine Corps Bandsman, and currently play with the "Lakeland Concert Band", our community band. It's GREAT fun, and if you play an instrument, I HIGHLY recommend that you get involved with a group like ours.
As a member of a childrens' entertainment duo many years ago, I learned to play several dozen musical instruments, none very well, just accompaniment, and mostly percussion, some even very exotic (my partner had instruments from around the world.)
However, when I was a teenager I taught myself how to play guitar, and dabbled with that for many years. Have not played in a long time, but have been thinking of taking it up again......
I played the piano as a child,,,many years of lessons. Think I must have been a slow learner,,
After Dh and I met he taught me how to play the guitar. But I'm not very good at it. He played in several bands in the area for years.
