Default Shades of Gray Thursday

Morning Mates, I woke up this morning with this song going 'round my head, "Shades of Gray", probably because yesterday I was listening to an old Monkees album in the car, and that song was on it. It perfectly describes the weather here today. Gray.
Yesterday it rained all day, mixed with some freezing rain, snow, and fog.
Melted some of the snow, but no worry - we are in for 20-25 cms more on Friday!

Last night we went to Trivia at the pub, and tried written trivia instead of "shout out" trivia. I like written better because it gives you more than a nano-second to think of the answer! We teamed up with a friend and we won 2 out of 4 rounds, not bad.

Today, I have a meeting for work, then work, then an evening of jigsaw puzzle. Don't you just love winter?

WOW Donna. Sounds like you're getting to be a regular "Trivia Queen"! We're going to have to team up with you and James on our next "mutual cruise".
Yes, we love winter. It was 77 degrees, and absolutely beautiful here yesterday. Supposed to be even warmer today,,,near 80, but then another weak cold front comes through, and our mean daytime temperature will drop to about 60. It has been a lot cooler around here for the last two winters than normally, but we'll take it.
Nothing on the docket for the lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita) and I today. Ten days till our cruise aboard the beautiful "Ruby Princess". I think we're ready!

Hi Kids,
Battening down the hatches for yet another snow storm..woe is us in the northeast...Time will tell if I get to work on Saturday. Meanwhile I am getting a cruise fix, because GMA is on the Disney Dream. Sam just showed the watercoaster, that looks amazing, and, a sunrise that would make you smile. I could use one of those!

Nothing but a few errands, on my dance card, as I will hibernate again, for a while....

Make it a good one,

Good morning Donna, and those to follow. Yes I love winter. Sorry but it is so much better here, when it is not so hot.

I can barely see daylight outside, but I can sure hear the wind blowing. I have not listened to the weather, but that usually means a new cold front coming in.

I spent 2 1/2 hours at DMV yesterday. They had only one person working, and was told that there is a back log of new licenses, so I might have to go back in 45 days if I have not received my new license. Fun fun...

I also went to get a new haircut. I wanted something new for my new body. I am not yet use to it, but I am sure it will grow on me. Jim of course will hate it, because it's shorter. What is it with men and longer hair.

I was worried yesterday because it was my first meal outside of the house since I started to diet. I was so afraid I would hurt my progress. I settled on Subway. I thought of Jared. This morning I weighted and I have lost another 1.1 lbs so I guess I can do outside food as well.

For those who do Wii Fit, my fit age this morning was within 2 years of my actual age. That has come down from 75 when I started.

Today I have to run on post and take care of some things. I shouldn't take very long, so I should be back soon to workout, and clean the house. Josh and I washed clothes last night, so that isn't something I have to do today.

I hope all of you have a good one.

Luanne

The sun is shinning here in NW GA. We never saw the promised sun yesterday.

I will definately get the WII Fit going today. I just put it in the middle of the floor so I will have to see it. Hope the battery is not dead.

Ran errands yesterday so today I am staying home and cooking a slow roasted pot roast.

Have a great day today.

Good Morning cruisemates! BRIGHT sunshine and highs in the low 70s for Scottsdale today.

Like yesterday, I have no plans for today. Yesterday turned into a very busy day, taking care of some errands for my mother, getting some things for her condo that she doesn't need

Do have to make a quick run out to find a gift for my twin sister's birthday. I can't believe how old she is

Default Shades od Gray Thursday

It's a beautiful sunny morning here in SoCal. Maybe a tad cooler.

Nothing on the slate, so just cooling it with breakfast, paper, and coffee. I need to schedule a haircut, too, Luanne. I also might talk Keith into an order of California Rolls for lunch at our local Japanese restaurant.

Have a good day, everybody.

Hey Girls,,,,it ain't all of us who dislike short hair on our lady! If you've been around us,,,you know that the lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita) has very short hair,,,,,and I, on the other hand,,,,have very LONG hair. It's not unusual for a waiter/waitress to approach us from behind me, and say, "what'll you ladies have today"?

Sky, now that was funny!
And Trip and Luanne, I am overdue for a haircut, just can't fit it in the schedule....That's the problem with short hair, you have to keep getting it cut!
