where I live one has to drive over a 13 mile spillway which very often have accidents with no place to turn around, so one could become stuck for hours..I'lve learn to carry in my trunk a plastic urinal (like they give you in the hospital following an operation), a book, my spare MP3 player and a pillow and blanket and some snacks and my portable DVD player
once I was stuck during an away Saints game, so several cars joined me in an impromptu tailgate party..it was fun except that the Saints lost
only on a cruisemate board can there be a thread about this stuff
In Caracas, at the Murano Glass factory, the lines to the ladies room were unreal..of course, the men were in and out in a second...
When you got in, there was a woman standing by a small table, with a roll of brown toilet paper on her finger. As you came to your turn, she rolled a few squares..[think Elaine in Seinfeld] and handed it to you,and told you not to flush it.
So....after I exited the stall, I looked for the sink, and, the woman pointed. I walked in to where she pointed, and lo and behold, there was a woman on the john!!!! The sink was in her stall, and it had NO door..Oh my!!
This story got LOTS of mileage

Snoozeman..and the "P" bridge is 26 miles long so I guess if you get stuck in an accident there..you only have one choice
I think on cruise ships, for men over 50, there should be a public restroom drill (instead of a lifeboat drill, you can send the other half to that one) where you practice identifying where the nearest restroom is in relation to the public room that you are in...sometimes, you can't make it back to your cabin when nature calls
and yes, I have seen women use the men's restroom on a cruise ship when the ladies lines were long..and not one man objected..
Yes I kind of do that Venice. I like to know where the toilets are located on my favorite decks. One of the reasons the Voyager of the Seas is cool with its famous mens room waterfall over the water. It is probably the best toilet at sea.
