Default Iiiiiiiiit's Fridayyyyyy!

Morning Mates, from a bright sunny and very cold Pictou County.
Temp is -16C with windchill of -23, or -9F, Brrrrr!

Yesterday was a nice clear day, and I left work at 5pm for a lovely clear evening sunset drive. About 15 minutes into the journey, it was like hitting a wall of snow - BAM! right smack into a blizzard! It was a harrowing rest of the drive home in near white-out conditions, and by the time I got home I was completely frazzled - and then it stopped! The weather sure is strange around here!

Tonight after work I am looking forward to my Pilates class. I am enjoying it so much, after not doing it for over a year. I find it so relaxing and already see an improvement in my posture and stomach muscles. I've been trying to teach Pilates and Yoga to the kids, but it's like pulling teeth to get them to sit still long enough. That's the whole point though, to teach them how to RELAX and not be so hyper and aggressive all the time!

Morning Rd and all to follow,,,

We arn't as cold here in the tidewater of Va as Rd is up north but baby it's cold outside here too,,,27 this a.m. The good news is,,,spring is on the way this weekend,,,rumor has it we are hitting close to 60 tomorrow,,Yeah !!!

Dh is wanting to head down to Fla. in a couple weeks to watch his Tigers in spring training,,,so we are trying to work thing around so we can,,,it's one of those things on his bucket list,,,just about everytime we go to Fla. he has to drive over to "Tiger town" and just "look".

One of my bucket list thingees is to see a shuttle take off & since one is scheduled for the 24th we might be able to "kill two birds with one stone" as the saying goes,,,

Now all I have to do is find the $$ and someone to run my job while I go play,,,

Hope everyone has a wonderful TGIF,,,stay warm if you can.

Prayers to those in need,,,

Good Morning CruiseMates!

Well it's finally Friday. Yay! I am so happy to see this week end and spring is nearly here. Should get up to the 40's and 50's this next week.

D/H will be home tonight. I am so looking forward to seeing him.

The house is really starting to shape up after phase one of spring cleaning. Today is going to be devoted to just doing laundry and making sure the kids do some more work on their bedrooms.

It will be a busy weekend with lots going on.

Hope you all have a good one!

Good morning
Watching the stuck garbage truck in my alley trying to break free for the last hour. They have brought in a snow plow to help. Good thing I have a side drive! Iíll bet that driver is not happy, hope they still pick up the trash!
Not as cold today and from what they say we may hit 48 next week. I'll beleive it when I feel it!
I pulled something in my back and can't take a deep breath or move to well right now. I did take a couple of Advil and it's helped a little.
Going to visit my mom and take her out for dinner, not much eles here!

Good morning mates

It's quite cold here as well. We did get -2 F. this morning.

I sure am hoping for an early spring. Of course we are going to go to Palm Coast, Fl. for a few days before we go to Ft. Lauderdale for our cruise on the Celebrity Equinox 11 day cruise on april 11th.

We will also stay again in Palm Coast for a few days after the cruise.

When we come back to Ct. . I don't want to see any more snow for a long time.

Have a nice day everyone.

Hello from London!

Wet and a balmy 55F.

Resting after a very stressful day yesterday - too long a story.

Everyone keep safe, healthy and warm.

My little princess turns five today, and judging by her entusiasm, it should be a national holiday and the whole world should be celebrating with her. You should have seen her marching around the house this morning marching and singing "It's my birthday, I'm 5 Years old".

Last night, I asked her if she told her classmates or her teachers that it was going to be her birthday today, to which she responded "No, I'm saving it as a surprise for them". Poor little thing, expects EVERYONE to be as enthusiastic. She was actually shocked that I was going to work today, and not staying home to get her birthday celebration ready.

Yes, I have a little diva on my hands.

Good Morning cruisemates! High of 70 today, and up to 79 for the next week or so in AZ. GORGEOUS!! Think I'll spend the day inside

Well, maybe I'll go out for a bit and take Mrs. Kuki out for breakfast.

No real plans for the day. At the moment I'm enjoying coffee on the patio, waiting for the first golfers of the day to reach us here on the 15th hole.

Good morning everyone:

The talking heads on TV are saying that we could have a 50 degree temperature swing today. It started out at -10F this morning and could hit +40 by late this afternoon. That's a big shift. It is also supposed to stay warm (mid 30's to 40) for the next week. That will melt some of the snow. We've had over 60" so far this year and most of it is still on the ground.

I had my first night in the full bed and it must be more comfortable. I went "to bed" at 7:30 p.m. last night, mostly to watch TV and "play" with the new bed. Well, before 8 I was asleep and didn't wake up until 5:00 a.m. this morning. I guess the new bed must be comfortable.

My daughter left this morning for 19 days in Australia. She will be doing a series of speaking engagements and she is excited for that and being able to see Australia. I'm jealous because she made it to Australia before I did.

I hope everyone thaws out this weekend and has a great Friday and a wonderful weekend.

Take care,

Good Morning All!

It's currently sunny and 31 degrees F with a high of 45 forecasted. Next week it will rise to the upper fifties and lower sixties. Maybe Spring has finally sprung after all!

Hope everyone has a wonderful TGIG!

Good morning. Sunny and a high of 77 here, a beautiful day.

Nothing exciting . . . just a gym day and yes, Mike, ironing!

Have a nice Friday, all.
