Dull as Dishwater Thursday

"Dull as Dishwater" was the description proclaimed by my hubby when he looked out the window this morning, and he's right.
The good news is though, that the temperature has risen to -4C or 24F, which is a BIG improvement over yesterday!

Last night we went out to Trivia and creamed everyone in the first game, tied the 2nd game and had a respectable score in the 3rd and 4th. We won a $10 gift card for a meal at the pub, so that was nice.

Not much else planned today except work. Hopefully it will stay "warm" enough to take the kids out sledding!

Good morning
Speaking of dishwater I need a new dishwasher, mine has finally washed its last dish!
Great weather here in Chicago, we should make it in to the 60’s today. Now that most of the snow has melted things look dirty and you see a lot of debris. Not much doing today except a nice walk and enjoy these temps because they’re not going to last much longer.

Good Morning CruiseMates!
Today the temps should get up to 60, with a chance of rain later. It was nice to open the windows yesterday and let some fresh air in. The snow and ice is nearly melted.

We had a tragedy yesterday when Alice the Parakeet passed away. She lived a very long life and enjoyed taunting the cats mercilessly and squawking loudly when I was talking on the phone. She was a pistol. We'll miss her... lol

The kids are doing some artwork at the moment. In a bit they will have to attack the less engaging subjects of study, poor babies lol.

Good Morning cruisemates from the patio perch in Scottsdale, with a big mug of coffe in hand. Going to 69 today, but it's the cusp day, as we hit a few days of clouds, cooler temps and some rain.

Mrs. Kuki is off to an art show and later a movie with a friend, and she gets the car today, so I have a stay at home and get things done day scheduled.

Not too exciting but I have a load of paperwork to finish up as I work to get things organized for our tax filings, and my mothers. But it should be nice enough that I can just get it all done sitting on the patio.

Finally also got my flight home booked. I leave here Apr. 7 and come back Apr. 18. Then fly from here to LA for my Crystal Symphony cruise, Apr. 24.
Mrs. Kuki leaves here March 15, after our Sapphire Princess cruise, to head back to work... so she won't be going on the Symphony with me.

Good morning! It's sparkling, sunny, and crisp after a vigorous rain yesterday. We're getting a reprieve and possibly up to six inches of the wet stuff by Saturday.

The new microwave is installed and Keith is enjoying a cup of hot cocoa. Nothing much on the agenda, except "getting things done," as Kuki puts it.

Good afternoon where it is supposed to hit above 60 degress, in Virginia Beach. A nice respite from the cold weather. Rob and I went to the gym and then I had to go to Kohls to return some toys that one of our granddaughter's already has. Kids today have so much that you don't know what to buy them! Saturday afternoon we are heading to Fredericksburg where we are using a timeshare week!
