Friday At Last!

Morning Mates, I slept in till 9:15 and still nobody has started the morning thread. You guys are lazier than I am!
At the moment it is -5C and sunny/cloudy, but the forecast is for another nasty weather day. We could get anything from 10 cms of snow, 5 mm of rain, ice pellets, freezing rain, or a mix of all of the above.
I just hope I get home from work before the worst of it hits!
Come to think of it, I have Pilates class after work tonight, so it will be later than usual.

Yesterday I witnessed something I've never seen before. Driving into town for my morning swim class, I saw an ambulance on the side of the road, and a truck from the Dept. of Natural Resources. There were 2 guys with reflective vests directing cars past, and someone at the side of the road with a SEAL!!
No kidding. It was right near a bridge over a little creek, and it seems a seal had made its way up the bank onto the side of the road, and they were trying to rescue it. I don't know what happened after I passed, but everything was gone, including the seal when I came home.
I love living in the country!

TGIF! The kids are working hard this morning. The mail should be here soon and in a minute I will be starting laundry and getting ready to do some dishes. Oh it never ends...

Have a busy day planned for tomorrow, taking d/d for a morning/afternoon of fun "girly type" events. So we'll have a great opportunity for mother/daughter bonding time. Should be a fun time.

Well I better get to crackin' take care and enjoy the weekend!

Hi Kids,
If I squint, I am in Lauderdale, in summer clothes!! Almost 60 right now..whoo hoooo!!

With that said, I am inside today, with Lucy, and a sick Aiden Watching them noiw, has turned a page, and it's not so easy anymore...
Lucy is sure a handfull,and Aiden is well...a boy Never walks, just runs!!

I've already cleaned and ironed a bit, so let the fun begin!

It is fun playing with boy toys though, we raised 3 girls.

Well, it looks as if I'm gonna' have to call "The Sarge" in, Rollerdonna; that is if I can myself wake up earlier enough to get hold of him!

It's an overcast day today with mild temps. I got half the laundry done yesterday. Today it's the other half along with all the other mundane household chores.

Hope your Mother is doing better today LisaK. She remains on my prayer list.

TGIF! At least it's the day one can visit the tavern and, as Merle Haggard says, "...drink a little beer in a tavern and lose these working man Blues."

Come to think of it, you don't even have to be working to do that!

Good morning cruisemates! Clouds have moved into the area, and temps are beginning to drop. It may make 70 today, but closer to 60 the next 4 or 5 days.

No golf in store today. Floor washing duty for me today; it's me and my swifter dancing all day long. The entire floor in the condo is travertine tile, so at least there's no vacuming.

Have a bunch of friends in town, who came for golf. I'll golf with them Monday, but will meet them for dinner tonight.

Good morning. Yes, it is late. We, too, are awaiting a big storm starting tonight. Right now, you'd never know it. The sun is shining and the Euriope bush is ablaze with yellow flowers.

I'm in the cleaning brigate, too, beginning with a small load of ironing. Keith is going to the gym.

First of all, I hope that the seal is OK.

It's a fairly warm day here, but colder air is coming in tonight.

I probably won't see any nice weather until we drive to Palm Coast, Florida in Early april.
