Queen is picking up the tab for the reception for approx 1000 and Charles is picking up the tab for the evening dinner/dance.

Haven't seen an invite yet, but most likely will be DVRing it, wouldn't miss it. I still remember his mother/father's wedding, was like a story book wedding.

I expect mine by personal delivery but with the post service by sea, will for sure miss me.
Agree, should be a great event to watch, does not happen all the time to pull out the stops and at least the Queen and Duke are alive to witness them be married.

I was quite fond of Princess Diana,and felt badly she married such a cold Prince.
Watched that wedding with my best friend.
I feel personally quite saddened that she won't be present for such a blessed event. I certainly wish the lovely couple all the best happiness in the world. They truly deserve that, at the least.

The build-up to the wedding has been quite low-key here in comparison to 30 years ago.

To be honest it doesn't really interest me, I don't know these people & see no reason to admire someone because they were born into a certain family. I bet they have "high tea" though!
