Royal wedding invitations in the mail
Well, it is official.
Have you received your Royal Wedding Invitation from the happy couple yet, Prince William and Kate Middleton (Catherine).
Are you going to watch or are you going to London or are you the rare one who received an invitation.
I'll be up at 3am I guess to watch the proceedings.

Culture also means my English terms might be different and no where in my note did I say you did not have a right to your opinion. Sometimes my subtle humour does not take though I did stay away from 'tea'.
I'm glad to hear of roots from South American as all of us have different roots which allows us to learn and enjoy what makes up our community.

I will treat it as a personal snub if my invitation does not arrive. However I will be in good company - I understand Fergie isn't going either.
It is a Public holiday for most of us in the UK; not me as I am retired.
Interestingly enough with the late Easter holiday, the wedding and the following May PH; a lot of workers can enjoy a 10 day break using only 3 days annual leave - and guess what a whole lot of folks are leaving the country going on holiday.
I will set the PVR - I looking at the dresses etc.
It is a Public holiday for most of us in the UK; not me as I am retired.

I will probably watch the re-caps, as it will be on at a difficult time here.
I remember watching Charles & Diana's wedding shortly after my own 1st wedding, and that was exciting. There is a lot of interest here in Canada as we are still a Commonwealth country.
I hope to be able to get across to PEI in June to see William & Kate make their first official Canadian visit.
Robh, I am sure every bride to be will be watching, and, drooling! There is no doubt the pomp and circumstance will be spectacular. One person will be missed deeply, by her son's side;(

I think to give your fiancée your mother's engagement ring is a lovely thing to do. Not a great one for the Royal family I doubt if they care about me! Two UK ''soaps'' have their own big days at the same time, a gay wedding on Coronation street & Phil & Shirley on Eastenders....just as real to me!
