New Earthquake hits Wellington, NZ - home of Lombard

I have just heard that another quake (4.7) has hit NZ again. This time in Wellington, the capital. Apparently no casualities have been reported. That is now 3 quakes in 6 months?

I know this is where Liam (Lombard) and my nephew live.

Just heard from Liam. He's OK but sounds like another earthquake is the last thing they needed. Here's a news story that was reassuring.

Yes it was quite a jolt but not unusual for this area.

Thankfully, an earthquake of 4.7 magnitude is nothing serious. Some minor foundation cracks perhaps at the epicenter, loose items disturbed from shelves etc. The one in Christchurch was way bigger.
