Charlie Sheen~Going Down in Flames...

Warner Brothers has officially fired Charlie Sheen....They now can say....winning!!

Usually when a celebrity, is on a downward spiral, you don't see them on tv, or on web shows, rambling like a fool caught in a 70's timewarp..Narly dude!

With all the money this man has made per episode, he says he is need of $$$, due to his lifestyle..poor him, huh?

I know not many [including me] have little sympathy for this guy, but, watching him self destruct, and for his kids..it's a shame

Fern March 7th, 2011 06:47 PM

I hate watching it, too. I think he is mentally ill and needs some kind of treatment. Maybe someone will do an intervention and help him.

From what I've seen (not just with him), there's a very fine line between brilliant and mentally ill. He crossed it and I'm sad for him.

venice March 7th, 2011 06:54 PM

what about the damage he has done to his co-stars and people employed on his set...even if they do bring in someone to replace him (John Stamos) the show will not be the same

Trip March 7th, 2011 07:03 PM

Venice, I agree. Thankfully the studio, has agreed to pay the crew for 4 epsiosdes, but, if they end up not recasting..its a major hit for everyone involved:( very sad...let's hope they do.

I have less sympathy for him, because of his history, going back to his accidental shooting of Kelly Preston, his then girlfriend at the time..John Travolta's wife. It seems he has always been a bullly, in one way or another.

thecruisequeen March 7th, 2011 07:10 PM

I hope he gets the help he needs and can turn his life around.

I saw the interview with Pierce Morgan the other day and I agree with Fern I think he may be just a bit mental at this point.

I hear he gets paid to tweet on twitter.

John Stamos is a great actor and better looking too. :p The show must go on with or without Sheen.

For talented and not so talented celebs, but, with big followings, it's like a Brinks Truck fell in their laps.

On someone I follow..this is what she tweeted...oh my daughter is now crawling, in her adorable Pampers...she didn't even try to couch it, in a paragraph....she got flamed by her followers...:)

He is now claiming to be jewish which is news to his father who has stated the family is roman catholic .

CruzNut March 7th, 2011 09:12 PM

Always thought the program was stupid, degrading of women, pushing alcohol, womanizing and Charlie in particular fit the part from everything you read in the media.

I'm so sorry for all the people who worked on the show - not just the actors but all the others.

He did his thing and destroyed so many others - horrible!

And, now it's even more disgusting that he's getting paid big bucks from twitter ... says a lot for that "social" program.

Lakers Fan March 7th, 2011 09:26 PM

IMHO ,most situation comedies on TV are degrading to women . Check out Gloria Steinem's list of preferred tv shows .

thecruisequeen March 7th, 2011 09:47 PM

I hear that the Kardashian sisters get paid to tweet.
I'm sure there is a long list of celebs who are paid to tweet.

Mental illness? Drugs? booze? Whichever or all three hope he turns his life around.

Trip March 7th, 2011 09:58 PM

Kim Kardashian, could feed a small nation with her Tweet $...

rollerdonna March 7th, 2011 10:17 PM

First of all, never liked the show, wouldn't watch it after one episode.
Dumb, degrading, sexist, obnoxious, just like Charlie apparently....

I am sick to death of all the media attention. HE DOESN'T DESERVE IT PEOPLE!
The only good thing about the whole thing is that we finally get a break from the daily downfall of Lindsay Lohan.
These people ought to get REAL jobs like REAL people and see how long they'd last.

If he, for just one second thought about the people in his life, he may have taken a different direction.. I just don't think he gets it, which is part of his problem, yes, he needs some kind of help....I feel so bad for him....

venice March 7th, 2011 11:33 PM

what's scary is watching old reruns of the show, and knowing how he is, you can see how the writers custom tailored the scripts to match his personality (minus the physical violence against women)...he manages to destroy any long term relationships with women that he is in ...he is surround by enablers ..his drinking is in excess..his casual one night stands are with paid escorts and married women..he has a poor relationship with his mother...makes lots of $$$ without really working and lives in a Malibu beach home..just slides thru life with no consequences

he does care about his nephew Jake and his brother Alan (whom he feels superior to)

that's why, no one can replace him in the show without changing the character story line..it won't work..waste of talent because he's really been good in his Oliver Stone movies

Luanne Russo March 7th, 2011 11:42 PM

I enjoyed his show, not so much for him, but the other cast members, who were funny.

My heart breaks for him. He truely has a problem, and I 'm sure all the drugs have not helped.

I just hope I don't wake up one morning and hear that he has died. Especially since he could still turn his life around.

Jacqueline March 8th, 2011 01:59 AM

I love the show, still hilarious. Its a pity he cannot manage his addiction, his body warned him enough, considering the hospital time he had say the last year. Saw a piece of an interview this weekend where he was rambling about the show and how well he was, looking very very old in his face and totally out of touch with reality.

I hope his family can/will support him. It's truly a waste of talent.

Cruznut2 March 8th, 2011 04:08 AM

I had never seen the show or even heard of it until I heard of him and his wild antics. Watching the media I get a sense that this man is insane and needs the help of professionals. So sad to see any human being go this way.

Moiraine March 8th, 2011 07:12 AM

I wish someone would unplug him and send him to rehab. It's a sad situation for him, his family, and the cast and crew of the show.

Mike M March 8th, 2011 07:26 AM

I enjoy the show and I have to admit that it isn't as good as it was a couple of years ago but I still have my DVR set to record the new episodes.

I do believe, in some ways it does degrade women but then again Sex and the City degraded men. ;):D Two and Half Men also degrades men. Look at the two main characters. Neither of them are "role models". There is no positive male character on the show. Regardless the show can be hilarious.

Initially it was sort of "interesting" to hear about Charlie's latest antics but now it is just sad to see him go down in flames. He is mentally ill and strung out. Perhaps "Tiger Blood" has an effect on the brain.

This will go on for a few more weeks and the media will focus on something else or Charlie will flame out and come to a sad ending. I hope that doesn't happen.

Take care,
Mike

I've frankly, never watched the show, mostly because Charlie Sheen is in it. I hope he gets help. I've seen about all I can stand of him, and Lindsay Lohan!

I will forever wish the worst for both him and his buddy Rosie O'Donnell for thier embracing the vile conspiracy theories on 9/11. Also may they live a long life to enjoy the misery.

Trip March 8th, 2011 11:28 AM

After watching his latest rant...all over the morning shows, It's hearbreakingly scary, for those who love him, to see how close to the edge this man is.

Moiraine March 8th, 2011 12:10 PM

I really wish the media would unplug him. Oh, that's right. That would be the ethical thing.

jacdenv24 March 8th, 2011 01:20 PM

I personally do not care for the show-way too much smutty bathroom and bedroom humor-but DH thinks it's a riot. To each his own. I've run out of patience with Mr. Sheen, he's a pathetic example of everything that's wrong with fame and celebrity and all the excess that come with it. As far as the show goes, I think it could be revamped into a great FAMILY sitcom with the remaining cast who are all very talented in their own right. Allan Cryer, Angus Jones, Holland Taylor,Conchata Farrell, Ryan Stiles and the actress who plays Alans ex wife (????) are all more than capable of carrying a prime time comedy. The world can live without Charlie Sheen.

Vile conspiracy theories ???

I don't want to do a political rant here but I lost a good friend on 911 and I myself was supposed to be at the WTC that morning but for a quirk of fate my plans were cancelled .

I read everything about the events of that day . Some of the most respected people on this planet believe the conspiracy theories .

To say that you wish the worst for people you disagree with is disgusting to me . If you said that about OBL ,I would understand .

Be disgusted then, having witnessed 9/11 from up close and personal, I have no respect for those who claim the government caused 9/11. It is beyond political, it is personal and I perceive them to be in league with OBL and his gang.

I don't care how respected those who belive the 9/11 conspiracies are, for them I have none, nil, nada. It is nothing but the "Hate America" cabal at their worst.

If one is going to embrace conspiracy theories stick to UFOs, Area 51 and that Bigfoot killed President Kennedy while hiding on the grassy knoll.

I just wish the media would not give him the oxygen of publicity.

Let's stop talking about him.

Let's give him time to pull himself together privately.
