Morning Mates, from a snowy Pictou County. It started last night and it's still coming down, we are covered in a white blanket once again. Seeing that it is still -6, it doesn't look like it will be melting any time soon. What happened to spring?
James spent a miserable weekend in bed with the "Canadian Crud", and is feeling marginally better this morning. We're both glad that he didn't have this while we were away!
I hope to get another installation of Cuba done this morning, then it's off to work for me. Wishing you all a good week ahead....

Good Morning cruisemates! It's only going to be about 85 today in the dessert. Talked to Mrs. Kuki last night and it was snowing, and chilly. I actually felt bad for her (I know, I couldn't believe it either )
Today I'm going golfing with her brother, my nephew, and the best female golfer I know. Should be a fun day, as she beats us all.
Hard to believe I have only 10 days left here before I head home. The months have truly zipped by.
After 11 days at home, and getting things in order, and getting taxes done, I do come back here for a few days before leaving to LA for my next cruise.
I'm late getting online today. After a very busy weekend I had to take the car in for servicing. Seems I had a problem with the throttle thingy and it stuck closed. We were staying overnight in Dayton, Oh where the temps dropped way down and my car is normally in a nice warm garage. It didn't like the cold weather so it let me know. Thankfully once the engine warmed up things were fine. The guy at the garage today said it needed a good cleaning so I had it done along with an oil change. I'm good to go now, and go I will. Heading to Columbus this evening for a meeting with my new Carnival Rep. Should be interesting.
We were on the road all weekend with square dances but yesterday's was the best. It was a benefit dance for a fallen sheriff's deputy who was killed on New Year's Day. She left 2 children, one which has a health issue, so 2 of the local square dance clubs organized the dance. They had lots of good food, a silent auction, raffles and much more to raise money for the children. The unofficial amount raised was over $2700.00. We were very pleased and so happy we could be a part of helping this family.
Rd- sorry you are getting snow. We are seeing sunshine but it is still only about 32 degrees outside. Where is Spring? Glad James is on the mend.
