Here in the U.S., the Gulf Coast beaches (along the Florida panhandle) are absolutely the best. We usually spend a week in Panama City Beach, Fla. every summer. Fortunately, last year's BP oil disaster didn't ruin the beaches in that area. We prefer the Gulf Coast to the Atlantic coast. Of the places we've visited on our cruises, Antigua has the most beautiful beaches we've ever seen. I can't imagine doing a Southern Caribbean cruise without stopping there.

David and I love Macapuu beach north of Waikiki on Oahu, Hi. We also like Yelapa and Sayulita, both wonderful beaches north or south of Puerto Vallarta.
Yelapa is like an island because there are no cars and it can only be reached by water.
oh its so hard to pick a favorite. my top three would be Horseshoe Beach in Bermuda, Grand Anse Beach in Grenada and Cinnamon Bay Beach on St.John Island
Most favorite beach of all time has to be this beach. Not one of the big famous tropical beaches but one that means a lot to me. Bristol Town Beach, Newfound Lake, Bristol NH. Next comes Revere Beach, Revere Mass, Plum Island, Ipswich Mass. Waikiki Beach, Honolulu Hawaii.
And of course for best scenery Truro Beach, Truro, Mass on Cape Cod

Venice, My beloved Mother came from Eastport, Maine. The rugged Maine coastline will always hold a special place in my heart. I am absolutely sure that my love of everything ocean comes from her.
