On Monday night we are having immediate family + close friends ,a total of 20 people .
On Tuesday night we will be going to my nephews home about 50 miles north of us where there will be 40 people .This is a non-stop eating ,or so it seems holiday .I've lost 25 pounds since last year at this time ,I hope I do not gain all the weight back.
Happy Passover to you, Henry, Kuki, and the rest of the cruisemates gang, who celebrate this holiday. We are heading up to Maryland, tomorrow to help with the grandkids. The first night of Passover, we will be in Baltimore at The Suburban Country Club celebrating the seder with Rob's cousins. The second night we will be in Gaithersburg, Maryland where our older daughter and husband will be hosting the seder for our kids, grandkids, and in-law. Next year in Jerusalem!!!
Happy Passover! I have to say that I'm a little jealous of those of you who have family and friends with whom you can celebrate.
You are all truly blessed and I hope you'll invite those who have no family to join in your Seder .
When I was a child we used the "military" Haggadah's that my dear father brought home from WWII. I still have them and they're stained with wine drops and haroses , and maybe a few tears (some legit, some from me having to ask the three questions forever!).
Next year in Jerusalem!
